for me i prefer DDs then SD on 161 ! if the SD is full i think u hv to stand all the way from WL int. to SK @ least and normally i won,t take the SD 161(when it already full seating @ time) and wait for the next bus !

Agree with LSK. Even sv.168 also have the same prob when it comes to SD see SD I also Donwan ride rather wait for plenty of space DD. SD will struggle like hell when standing. Don't think 161 can suit SD I can tell thou

Now RP holiday, U will see the crowd at 4-6pm on RP school days. The line of 161/168 can be as long as 950 which make the interchange extra hot due to high carbon emission.

Maybe 955X did 159 in the afternoon and did 74 in the evening but 925H was not even on 112 for the past week

Maybe this bus is a split shift bus,There was once that I saw SBS9835A doing 31 in the morning and afternoon around 4.55pm at rivervale area, it was doing 88 toward direction of pasir ris.

Exactly. For the long distance routes especially with no stops in between, DDs are best suited even if it carries 55-60 pax. No one wants to stand such long distance, rather have a comfortable seat.

Or they should give 176 back to KJDEP or give ex 176 perm 870M n 871K back and WLDEP take all the BPJ service that doesnt have bendy fleet like 970,975 and 700. For AM side, They can partially control 855,853, Some of the OCs of 851. Till today i dont understand 854 shift to WLDEP. Currently WLDEP spares has more rigids than bendies so its better to control all the non-bendy fleet service

The yishun feeders may still be staying at AM due to the ONP at Yishun though.Unless WLDEP throw alot of their 13xx MANs to AMDEP. I dont think AM want to send their bendy fleet to WLDEP esp for Yishun feeders due to 95% bendy fleet. If WLDEP got enough space to park new bendies at the depot since WLBP parked alot of rigids there

But you must know that Weyna depot will be up and running mid 2014..And the deployment plans states that their area of responsibilities will start from Boon Lay,Bt Merah till Harbourfront..It's bigger than Wldep in term of parking lots and size
