What will happen to BV Terminal after the reconfiguration? Will there be more bus lots? Will there be boarding/alighting bus stop there? Any plans for new services there? Thanks
Reconfiguration as in expand? Its good if they allow boarding and alighting there
I had noticed that they have widening the exit from the terminal to North Buona Vista Road, to allow buses from turing into the terminal from North Buona Vista. There are still many commuters alighting and boarding at Ghim Moh Road, removing the Ghim Moh bus sevices will have an inpact to the residents.

I think BV will have boarding/alighting and merge with Ghim Moh. Not sure if they want to still keep a roadside terminal that is just a few meters away from the bigger BV. But you are right that it will impact residents.
I think 92 will start at BV Terminal and still do the Ghim Moh Loop. 100 will call at BV, whereas 111 should get extended to Clementi Interchange via Ullu Pandan. It will give direct connection to Clementi for Ghim Moh Road residents.
Ghim Moh residents mostly all move out so 92 might be BNV loop at Mount Sinai and new Svc from BNV loop at Science park..145 should extend to Clementi

145 already long route la... extend 111 to Clementi IMO.
Nvm by the time more BTOs is up the roadside terminal is redundant.
92 current route very funny. Start Ghim Moh then come back and do Mt. Sinai loop and then end.

Only 20.5 km per direction where got so long.At least a few duties transfer to Bt Batok.111 to Clementi looping at Suntec hectic leh
I would rather speculate 100, 111 to terminate at BV, 92 to loop at Science Park from BNV. And a new service to loop at Ghim Moh Road / Link from Bukit Merah via Commonwealth Ave, Alexandra Road, Jalan Bukit Merah, Bukit Merah Interchange.
I don't see the need in extending any bus services to Clementi.
Ok then Mr Iam goondoo

The recent accident at Commonwealth Ave West, the traffic woes in Clementi Town [as someone feed back to the Straits TImes], I don't think they would want to put another bus into Clementi. Moreover there are already 106, 105, 185, 147 plying to Clementi along Commonwealth Ave West, 7, 165 plying to Clementi along Holland Road.
Ya hor think a new Svc from Bt merah plying Mt Sinai to BNV is better.

Not needed. Already so many buses from Commonwealth avenue to Bukit Merah. It will be exact same route as 147, 196, 198. Just extend one of the buses to Clementi via Ghim Moh, Mount Sinai. Can extend 32 or 48 also - need not be just 100 or 111.
Mr anal Mr goondu stays around BNV and by his experience he knows better
The link between Ghim Moh Road and Commonwealth MRT is important. Ideally the frequency for this service should be high. By extending any service to Clementi MRT may render the schedule to be irregular and the waiting may be long [due to the longer journey and the traffic woes in Clementi]. Whilst if the link is served between Bukit Merah and Ghim Moh, plying along Commonwealth Ave and Alexandra Road, the shorter journey and the higher loading demands at IKEA may render this service to have a high frequency.
As a resident in Holland Village, I had suffered from the bad frequency for 970. Imagine waiting for 17 minutes for a 3 minute journey? Anyway let the Ghim Moh residents decide.
