1. Nissan UDs are all gone.
2. Scanias are gone leaving the last 4 units behind (to be gone by 2014).
3. DAFs that were registered in late 1995 are already gone (remainder to be gone by 2014).
4. Half of the Lances are already gone (hope all will be gone soon).
5. The whole entire Hino fleets had been removed lately.
6. Merc 0405s are reaching their end of lifespan soon starting with 425R and 426M this coming July (by early 2015 at least 90% of the 0405 fleet should be gone).
7. Not sure of the fate for the Volgren 0405s, whether they will be refurbished and extended, or early lay up.
Just curious on how will the entire SMRT fleet be like then. Especially for bus services like 178 and 975.
all MAN fleets loh...
Hope SMRT buy 150 more Mandy and Citaro C2 G~
I sense a few Scanias or other makes will be bought beside those MANs

Volgren O405s will definitely be refurbished and given lifespan extension based on the annual report by SMRT in 2011.

New Citaro Euro 6 got 7700cc 299ps/1200nm better than the gen 1.The Citaro G no longer using 11967cc but instead a new Euro 6 10700cc with an option of 350 or 370ps

Originally posted by SMB189A:KJDEP need alot of new buses than WLDEP. Alot of bus from KJDEP like Hino, DAF (semi retiring) , MK1 are going laid up n deregistered. And I heard from the driver that Mk1 may not have 2 year extension.
They phasing them out like TIB838H, sommore they dare put new EZ-Link card scanners.
I am quite surprised to see SMB1331Z on 963. I been expecting SMB1331Z onwards at KJDEP. WLDEP is like sucking all the new MANs recently+ KJDEP CAC. Who knows the ex 173 CAC also come WLDEP in exchange for MANs in WLDEP.

SMB1332X, SMB1333T & SMB1334R also WLDEP... Heard that KJDEP starts to take in new A22s already, waiting to deploy, probably SMB1346G onwards?

WLDEP now got like 85% of MAN. As per sgwiki there is currently 199 MAN in WLDEP not included the 3 mentioned by you. 200 MAN can really replace alot of the OAC soon in WLDEP

AE200s are good. I have suggested it long ago but others claimed to be too short. Maybe, SMRT can acquire some to supplement services like 882, 172 at night or NR services.

making those NR to be WAB is great
should have a mix of LEs and LFs in the fleet
It would be nice if SMRT brings in VDL (previously DAF) buses in the future, It looks inspired by the Citaro and VDL also offers mini-buses built under MB Sprinter chassis. It has the option of Cummins or DAF engines. It is also the "Bus of the Year" in 2011.
Another possibility is Solaris buses since Solaris agents were seen approaching AMDEP. But Solaris buses aren't very popular with many drivers due to the rattling and the dashboard sounds. Solaris buses also have the option of Cummins or DAF engines.
But again, sad to see the Lances and Hinos retiring early, they are pretty wasted IMO. Sigh...

Haha veolia Transport.
Anyway like i mentioned earlier in another topic, all thanks to the fucking SMRT for their fucked up heck care attitude towards their buses..In the end,all this definitely roadworthy buses have to be phased off due to their negligent actions. =.=

What the fuck is wrong with u?! He is doing no wrong what. I don't see anything wrong with posting thoughts and neutral opinions. He is simply expressing when the buses will be gone. Yes he may want his new buses, so what? Stop clinging on history and move on in life! You like them a lot is it? If that's so, STFU and instead use the time to treasure them!
Just to clarity. I am NOT supporting new buses. I have favour to some old buses too. I am just wanting u to know how u showed yourself a fucking asshole here. Sorry and goodbye.
