Hi everyone,
I know that this doesn't have anything to do with Singapore Buses, but I thought I'd post a couple of photos of the Mercedes-Benz O 305 that I purchased this week since from what I understand, these were very popular with enthusiasts when they operated in Singapore.
My unit operated as (500) with the Metropolitan (Perth) Transport Trust which became Transperth. It was fitted with a Hanover LED display system five years ago which it retains under my ownership.
Please enjoy and feel free to comment!
nice photos. any photos of the dashboard and interior?
The front & rear sections of the bodywork, are they original M-B or some high quality copy ?
The star olive leaf coin badge & vertical grip handle seems missing on the front

I will take some when I'm with the bus next.

The front cowl was imported with the chassis from West Germany. The rear was produced locally due to the requirement for a larger than normal destination display aperture and higher than standard rear seat height.
Since my unit has the intercity front (StÜLB), it was never fitted with the small Mercedes-Benz pendant, therefore the badging and fittings are all present and correct.
Intercity version..that'll mean the O 307 ?
When i looked up the official DB published pamplets from 1980's, impresssion is MB coin badge should be standard feature so long as it's original MB body/cowl ?
Also, the styling of that era they didn't have black trim, meaning the curved 2 piece windscreen then is more obvious. Yours looks a more modern updated styling of this classic iconic bus from the 60 to 70's era

It's an O 305 chassis that shipped with an O 307 (StÜLB) front end, a common option for O 305s even in Europe.
The O 307 (StÜLB) front end did NOT ship with the pendant.
