In my opinion:
The best Citaros = ARBP 93 (SBST), AMDEP 852 (SMRT)
The best OCs = KJDEP/AMDEP 61
The best Euro IV Scanias = BNDEP 36 (SBS8169X and SBS8262J)
The best O405s = AMDEP 171 (TIB623K), KJDEP 173, KJDEP/WLDEP 176, KJDEP 970
The best MANs = WLDEP 167, WLBP 858

Now i cant tell wich of the 134x are full day n perms coz i saw them twds Bukit Merah at 6+ near AMK
SBS1348B is A/P, arrives at Bukit Merah Int at about 3.30p.m. on Weekdays...
Took SBS2739R on 408 on today. Boarded it from NOL Bldg. There was a group of boys on the bus, which was interesting as 408 buses tend to run empty. At Telok Blangah Road, I overheard them dicussing about 273. Their conversation:
"She (the bus driver) drives 273 on Weekdays."
"273 is a bus service. Which one?"
"Feeder. Goes from Bukit Merah to Telok Blangah something..."
Then, I said, "Telok Blangah Heights." They asked me to repeat myself. When I said it the second time, one of them went, "You do know that bus service very well. What's your name?" I mentioned my name, but I was mistaken for 'bus555 (not real name)"'. I explained I was a different 'Andrew'. They then asked me where I stayed.
At HarbourFront Int, one of them asked me if I had gone out with other bus fans before or was solo. I said, "Only once, when I took 925 from Woodlands Int to Choa Chu Kang and met one bus fan. After that, no." He asked me if I could be contacted when there are more bus activities like this.
Hope to meet you here if we met earlier!

ST home Jun 2 B6 report tt there is "an SBS Transit bus that fuses the facades of old n new buses" at PAssionArts festival 2014,AMK Central till Wednesday
SMRT had released another tender document with Tender No. QU14-008, dated 27 May 2014, for the sales of de-registered/scrapped buses.
It mentioned about sales and de-registration of 130 units of scrapped buses, and an option to exercise the sales and de-registration of additional 126 units.
The first batch of 130 buses mentioned contains up to 104 units of Model MBO 405 (12m) and 26 units of Model MBO 405G (Bendy) over the contract period from July 2014 to December 2014.
The second batch of 126 buses mentioned contains up to 122 units of Model MBO 405 (12m) and 04 units of Model MBO 405G (Bendy) over the contract period from January 2015 to June 2015.
Based on what it is mentioned above, it is confirmed that all of the remaining Hispano O405 (except 827P-832Z batches) and Hispano O405Gs regoed from 849B to 889K will all be de-registered during the time period above without lifespan extensions...do look out for more new buses to come in the following months.
Hi. There is something I would like to ask, but I cannot find any topic that is appropriate for it.
Q: if at a bus stop, there is a officer in white uniform and dark-blue/black pants, carrying an electrical device or holding onto a writing pad with a pen/pencil, probably to count and record bus loading, crowding levels, etc., does this mean that there will soon be a new bus service being introduced that will serve this bus stop?
because I believe bus service 49 was introduced partly (besides for Jurong West Street 42) due to the high amounts of loading on buses at Jurong West Street 51 towards Lakeside MRT, where by the time the buses arrive at Jurong West Street 51, they would be so packed that many times the buses would just skip the bus stops.
I have been seeing people in white uniform and dark-blue/black pants standing at the bus stop at Pioneer Road North blk 705. Personally, I feel that the people staying nearby and relying on this bus stop a bit poor thing, because by the time the buses (to Pioneer MRT) arrive at the bus stop, they would already be almost packed (241/241A by people in N9, 179 by people in NTU and N8) or already packed (and just skip the bus stop).
With the sighting of an officer in white uniform and dark-blue/black pants doing recording at the bus stop at blk 705, does this mean there will soon be a new bus service that will serve this bus stop?

If the officer looks like this... the answer is no.
The officer (or formally known as traffic inspector) is there to ensure smooth operation of existing services. I will not elaborate why they may be there, because it will offend parties. But I can tell you that it is not a reliable indication of any new future routes.

Yes this was ought to happen with SMRT bringing in DDs. couldnt have stayed with same AMDEP infrastructure.
The easiest option was to dismantle the roofs and good to see they are exactly doing it the logical way.

Then we will see more services going back to partial/full AMDEP control, like 106, 169, 190 (take over from WLDEP perhaps?), 811, 854, 961 (take back AMDEP shifts from WLBP), 965 (maybe?) and so on... Good move.
Seems like lately bus enthusiasts have forgotten about this thread to post things not known where to post...
New bus stop being constructed along Tampines Ave 5 between Ave 10 and Ave 8 (only one bus stop towards the west). No photos as I was on sv 34 which passed by the bus stop quickly.
PS. Sorry for posting this at BSEP thread just now because I noticed somebody else posting something about a new bus stop in that thread previously..
