  SMRT is currently tendering for the sale of de-registered/scrapped buses. There will also be a site showround at WLDEP on 27 Jan for interested participants.

  The tender is first released on 21 January 2014...it can be found in Cats Notices Page C15 of the same date.

  No DAFs...The 4 CRLs are in, 11 MK1 bendies and the rest are all O405s.

  11 MK 1s then replaced by A24s i knew but those O405s to cover some cost.Why only 62 buses?I was expecting that they tender the whole bus system to potential bus operators that are dedicated rather than crappy condition,cramped depots,poorly management multi modal bus operator?

  Actually it should be 61 buses, not 62...although the list of O405s cover from 400-series to 800-series.

  Why are there some buses that are so noisy? SBS8743M has the same loud noise as SBS5157A.
