Sv 20 today morning 08.20 am, around 20/25 pax board the bus at Simei MRT itself. The Citaro seemed full as last 4-5 pax had to wait to get in. 20
Sv 43 should go to Bedok North Depot instead of UEC by sv 48 route, and sv 48 can terminate at UEC. The loading at Tanah Merah for Bedok South Ave 3 and UEC road is very high and cannot be coped by 48 during evening peak.
48 is slated to be part control by Bedok North later.43 why must go BNDEP?

What is wrong with SMRT management.
Last year this time they announced tenders for high capacity buses. Till now only order of 30 MAN A24s placed, which also is replacement for the dying bendies.
When you have SBST introduce 500 new DDs in its fleet, you have SMRT introduce only 30. What is wrong with them? Why is it taking them so long to make a decision?
SMRT needs at least 200 more bendies or need to introduce DDs in its fleet. HIGH TIME. SMRT sucks!!

I despise exam period in RP. U will see the crowd is like some 'serpent' for both 161 n 168 at around 6+pm when students rushed back home after exam

You saw 4 DDs on 161 and 3 DDs on 168. Do you mean to say all the buses you saw were packed? Both are already full fleet DDs and have had quite good capacity add in the last 6-8 months.
85 operates more like Sengkang Town Link connecting most parts of Sengkang. Observed 2-3 buses on sv 85 within Sengkang. All full. Looks like loading has increased on sv 85 in the past few months.

First 2 or 3 buses were packed for both services. the rest of the buses is half empty.
I think Sv 293 had around 4 DDs on it today AM. Spotted 3 WEGs, 1 VO3x when I was waiting at Tampines Interchange, and then took bus 22 to UBI.
Do you think sv 268 will be the next to receive Wrights?

Not much useful also..sometimes(especially 161), the DDs tend to cock up and bunch up Departing bus park at 6:26, ended up doing so at 6:30 :/
Anyway, 168 DDs getting back the heavy load(in the morning) after changing BSEP timing...

I think they reconsidering the choices of bendy or DDs Who knows both of them with specific and fixed depot handling them?(just wild guessing).
Yesterday NDP parade sibei jialut.... I pity those SBST BCs the most.....
Major jam at the bridge there next to ECP and the float... Those BCs can't even enter Marina Centre ter and have to disrupt the route(not those originally planned by sbst) and then start their trip from the 1st bus stop back to their respective interchanges/ter like JE, Bishan, Ghim Moh. Whole Marina centre filled with vehicles...
Worst part is, some kids take advantage of the jam and use their cute little DSLRs and snap photos..
I think that those Volvo B10TLs that use ZF gearbox are using the 4HP590 variant and not the 4HP500, this is simply because the engine outputs a maximum torque of 1200Nm, and the 4HP500 only allows a maximum of 1100Nm, while the 4HP590 allows 1250Nm.

From 21 DDs, 4 SDs in May... In less than 2 months it is 18 DDs 7 SDs... So much low demand suddenly to convert 3 DD slots to SD???

153 cut even more DDs last time...
2 DDs became 863C & 872B (now 1961X & 2635G), 9593Y 9651M downgrade to 842M 847A (now 2672Z & 2764S), it also suffered slight fleet reduct.
74 also loads of SDs, those x-over to 74e one are understandable, but those that aren't (973T 995E 1922J 2611A 2677K 2686J 2718B 2731L 2767J).

Yeah agree,there are about 11 SP Volvo B9TL at BBDEP. I don`t understand why SBS Transit don`t want give some of the Volvo B9TL to be perm 166
Anyone knows when will the Buangkok Vale / Buangkok Link HDB Flats open and public start living?
I foresee crazy loading on sv 43, 70 and 88 once people start living in these flats. Tall HDB sky scrapers.
