From what I can remember,
178: Ever since 950 was reintroduced in 2004, the Scanias from 178 were all reshuffled to other services. Entire 178 fleet downgraded to Nissan UDs as a result (3xx and 12xx series).
187: No perm Nissan UDs all the while, somehow the Nissan UDs always like to spam.
852: Went under full WLDEP in Mar 2008. Total fleet downgrade to majority Nissan UD fleet (all the ex-CSS regos were dumped into 852)
853: Only had 1 perm Nissan UD all along that s-shift slot. 377X >> 1256E >> 365E. The rest were mainly cameos.
975: After CSS went into history, KJDEP took in some ex-CSS Nissan UDs. All of KJDEP Nissan UDs were eventually dumped into 975 replacing the DAFs for whatever reason.
980: Only had 1 perm Nissan UD from WLDEP all the while. The rest mainly cameos.
981: All the while full Nissan UD fleet (367A and 369U).
At least 187, 852 and 980 had a significant upgrade to WABs.

980 now have at least 3 perm Citaros ever since the WAB implementation.
853 had a number of Nissan UD redeployments before just for that s-shift slot

161 not only the SDs. Recently 9592A also kana accident. In the past 9399S also had accident before.

I don't see the need for bendy buses for 178. It is a waste of space deploying it. The demand isn't there.
