971E and this 850E: both are AM: to city and PM: to town
LTA and SMRT should make this 850E service a full day service to help to reduce crowded MRT train. like sbst 512 and 502 and 506. And the best extend it to woodland.
And rename it to 851E will be better as 850E the number people will think is same as 850 go to JB and it a JB express service.

I think it is a good route and will get some good traction. Full day service not needed from the beginning. Can add more services once route is more popular.
it will probably take away quite abit of load from 857 in the morning and evening peak.
but, seriously, why cant it be a trunk service which runs full day? and howcome it doesnt start from Yishun Int? So weird to start at some random place.

It is just 2 buses. It would mostly be AMDEP, but if not, it will be WLDEP. It will be one of the two, and not shared depot.

Most likely from WLDEP/WLBP, same as Service 857/860 as SMRT AMDEP has a parking crunch.
