It will be interesting to project the bus route needs with the increasing commercial / residential development. There will definitely be rationalization of bus services, introduction of new services and modification of existing bus services like something that happened when NEL opened.
Now, the additional buses purchased under BSEP does make sense!!
I tell u,If Pay and Pay lose another 3 places in 2016 then 6.9m won't be materialise..The most I say is 6.5..tuas and tengah for mid class and marina bay you know who.
Tuas,Tekong and Marina Bay all under SBST area while Tengah SMRT.

Tekong will need a bridge to connect to main island. The bridge will connect at Nicoll Drive? Changi bus terminal will get more importance and loading once Tekong is built.
tekong is become military training island... they are going to move the training area/some army camps there to free up the space over the mainland.. dun think they are going to build public housing there...

With so many new areas coming, there should also be planning for new bus interchanges and bus terminals. I think though Tekong will be a military camp, it will still have many traveling back to city from there. With no MRT line, Changi bus terminal needs to be converted into an interchange like Bukit Merah style, and I suspect more buses to be extended / introduced from here.
no really need new service to the new town. new town has new mrt system, some bus service route might re direct to those town.
I think new bus interchange should be planned for Downtown East considering there are plans to develop Tampines North and Tekong will have military camps.
Where is Bidadari exactly? Is it the open land near Woodleigh?

I think some of the trunk services will also loop around new town before getting onto Punggol road or Senkang East Way.
