Trans Island Bus Sv’s legacy indeed…
A22s can carry 90 pax, OC can carry 96 pax....

Now all JB reg volgren still remains with stick
OC has 32 seats, A22 has 38 seats...

spotted
why would they replace the new readers with old readers and have to take the trouble to replace the old readers with new readers once their lifespan is up?

There’s a thing called CHECKPOINT reader mode… you take 856 > 170, you risk the 45 mins x-fer time…
CHECKPOINT takes as though you didn’t alight the bus…
hmm 856 does not have checkpoint mode
if it is transfer from Cross-border services maybe yeah
but you still get the transfer when you transfer 160/170/170X/950 at CIQ to 178/856/903/911/912/913 -- tried before
if it is transfer to Cross-border services
still get the transfer even with the checkpoint mode
it is better if the buses have more sitting capacity
can any public bus or train in the world take in as much as they are licensed to carry?

I took MAN every day in 858 and i can tell you MAN cant take as many pax as OC does on 858.
Originally posted by sbst275:can it even hit 90…
which bus can carry as much as they are licensed to carry? licensed to carry is just a estimate

eh... I dun think it's so straight forward... if you're from JB, likely chance is yes.. since it's alrdy froze when you alight from cross border... but not the other way round.. you alighted from a non cross border sv...
912 to 170
you can pick 160/170/170X to board at WDL CIQ and then board 170 at JB Sentral CIQ to Larkin terminal.
a safer bet is to board 170 at the bus stop along the WDL Centre Rd and then take 160/170X to Kota Raya 2 terminal or 170 to Larkin terminal.
if it were light, head for the CIQ then

that should be the theoretical maximum allowed
a maximum imposed on basic svcs is pegged to 95% of that; to be lowered to 85%
Originally posted by sbst275:in reality…
I’m just going to use VO2x as a good example… can carry 100 ppl, but in reality ppl if can would stick to 81..
same old issue w/ MAN… In reality, max capacity that can still allow ppl room space to move to exit door to alight is max 70…
theoretical maximum allowed = number of seats + (standing area / minimum area per pax)
you can stick to that if people stand 2-by-2 in the aisle
Haha the battle of SBST and SMRT never ending..Haiyo giv it a rest
267 jb reg on 169
can throw all this used trash to 950
SMB260B on 961 today with JB registered stickers
So it is confirmed that SMB260B to SMB269C has them+ SMB283K,SMB284H,SMB286C. Suspect SMB285E and SMB287A also have them
