s23, s25, s72, s87, s88, s99, s161, s168, s241
For most of these services, there is just 1 SD that makes it short of full fleet DD. The route has high loading, so why deploy that 1 or 2 SDs? Advertisements can't be a justification as many of the SDs on these services don't even have ads. There is something more to it.
Svc 88 really either needs full DD or a revised schedule. SBS 5135M (BRBP 88) will arrive around 7AM at Buangkok Green with the bus already full and more passengers trying to cram into the bus. Most bus arrival apps don't list down the SWT services so they don't know that 88A is otw. When the fully packed bus leaves, less than 2 minutes later, a random DD for svc 88A arrives. Empty. Should trial bendy again and put on svcs 72, 74, 161, 168, etc. But that's just my 2 cents. 88 is possible for full DD as it only has 3 SDs but it also constantly gets KUB cameos.
I also noticed that new perm wrights for svc 88 come in batches of 3. First batch of perms: (SBS 3184J, SBS 3187B & SBS 3196A) Second batch of perms: (SBS 3201T, SBS 3208A & SBS 3210S) and the most recent batch of perms: (SBS 3179A, SBS 3186D & SBS 3229P). 88's CDGE's rear EDS not working since last year. Many CDGEs with door problem (either too violent or one open already then like 3 seconds later the other opens), some got no doors closing alarm. And they've replaced the rare VSO with a wright. What is SBST doing??

In fact the whole route less the one near buona vista is nearly full-house even for DD, much less SD, for most of the day and night.
But quite frankly, 74 is still ok. At least if the SD skips stops, usually a DD comes within 10 min.
The one that's NOT ok is 72. 15-20 min night frequency when so many people take this service from YCK, HG, Tamp is not ok. And not to mention the horrifically slow driving. Especially off-peak timing. It makes a journey from Tamp to HG at a leisurely 45min at times when car takes only 15min! A ride to Pasir Ris by train, followed by a switch to 88 takes 35min only by contrast.
Speaking of 72,A friend of mine driving last bus towards yck got creepy experience along old Tampines bus stop cause when he open the entrance door no one board when before that he did saw a woman flag his bus

72 has got 5 bus fleet add in Jan, and 72A, 72B - so at least on YCK, HG side the frequency is very good. In peak hours, there is a bus every 05-07 mins. I am not sure about Tampines side, but with the new fleet add, I think it should be fine. If I am not wrong, all the 5 additions are DDs.

No wonder all BCs stop at empty stops along Tampines road

I have observed the same with 98A also. When I was at Lakeside, I observed two 98As that came in within 2 mins of s98 had left the stop. Moreover, train towards Joon Koon had just arrived. The BC came, so just 2 pax at the stop, took them on board and left. A minute later, when people came down from MRT, there were atleast 50-60 pax waiting for the next bus. When checked through sms, next bus was after 11 mins, 18 mins. So the next 98 that came, had load of 2-3 MRTs to take and would be PACKED while the 98A BC just left with a Wright with 2 pax on board.

No need for bendy. Making these services full fleet DD will do the job.
If 72 can use bendy with ease then might as well exchange yck with Bukit batok

What about s13, s70, s162? The YCK terminal is so small. Do you think bendies can park?

now bendy bus so difficult to do the right turn.. ya.. I dun live at BPJ, so nothing wrong…
Now SMRT also place order of 30 more bendy buses. Need to see layout of new BPJ interchange... whether it would be bendy friendly...
s159 should terminate at AMK interchange. This will help improve frequency and deploy DDs. s73, s105 can cater to the load to TPY from Lor Chuan. People can interchange at AMK if need to go to AMK Ave 1.
9514B observed on s93 on 15-Jan. This bus does not belong to s7 fleet. Apart from this a random DD from s7 plies on s93 during morning peak. Is there capacity addition for s93 for morning peak hours?
I was talking bout SBS7491X about he mention 88 should trial bendies or even 72A that's why I say if both of this svc can use bendies then might as well SMRT take over yck and SBST take back Bukit Batok la

Take 72 and 195 and exchange with 190 and 106...
Then extend 72/195 to Bt Batok!!!
190/106 can transfer cos New Bridge Ter/Shenton Way controlled by SBST.
Service 31A

106 & 190 originate from BBT & CCK mah..it's unlike 852 where both point also easy access for SMRT SLs.Those Shenton Way SLs mostly live near Rochor,Bendemeer,Kallang or Toa Payoh..So the area fall into Amdep category

Exchange 66 with 190, 170 with 106. 195 should remain with SBST. I do not think bendy buses will be deployed on SMRT because of sharp turns on Commonwealth Drive. The SBST stint on 195 was unsuccessful.

Is there a bendy on 195 back in the late 90s? I rmb taking a SBS bendy on 18 when i was in kindergarten
The 0405G was on 195.
