  Errors galore for F1 SGP poster!
  
  1. sv36,36A,36B,56,107M was never routed to ply Robinson Rd (opp AIA Tower) and they do not even pass by Robinson Rd on normal routing conditions
  2. sv14A DOES NOT call at the bus stop opp Suntec City(80151)
  3. bus stop 80161 is split into 2 bus stops, one outside concourse, the other along Nicoll Highway after Java Rd for 14,14e,16,70M.

  Four more wheelchair-friendly bus services to be introduced by SMRT on Sept 29

   

  SMRT is introducing wheelchair-friendly buses on four more bus services, bringing the total number of wheelchair-accessible bus services run by the operator to 38.

  From Sept 29 onwards, 30 such buses will be added to bus services 178, 853, 904 and 947.

  SMRT in a statement on Monday said that bus captains have been trained to assist passengers using wheelchairs. They will ensure that the passenger's seatbelt is fastened and the wheelchairs are secured before the bus moves off. They will also help to tap the passengers' ez-link card. Bus captains will also stow a ramp - which is manually-activated for persons in wheelchairs to get on and off the bus - to its original position before opening the front door for other passengers to board.

  Passengers may contact SMRT customer relations at 1800-336-8900 on weekdays (excluding public holidays) from 7.30am to 6.30pm or visitwww.smrt.com.sg for more information.

  6 November 2013 – A new bus service – Service 972 – will be launched from Sunday, 17 November 2013. The new service will provide better connectivity for commuters travelling between Bukit Panjang and the city. This is the 15th bus service launched under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).The new service will ply along Bukit Panjang Ring Road, Jelapang Road, Segar Road and Fajar Road before heading via Bukit Timah Expressway and Pan Island Expressway towards Whitley Road, Stevens Road, Orchard Road and Bencoolen Street. From Bencoolen Street, it will make its return journey to Bukit Panjang Town via Penang Road and Somerset Road.The service will enhance connectivity for residents in Bukit Panjang to key transport nodes such as Dhoby Ghaut, Somerset and Orchard MRT stations, where they can transfer to the other rail lines and bus services to reach their destinations.Vice President for SMRT Buses Ltd, Tan Kian Heong said: “Bukit Panjang Town is undergoing rapid development where many HDBs are scheduled for completion in the coming years.
