I should say, 858A should also operate during AM peak as well...

True. Its really crowded during AM peak. I remember 969 bendy can be filled to the door during AM peak too so i wonder why they dont have 969A from Woodlands.
969 from Woodlands usually most of the crowd stop at Yishun and there's alternative beside 969 but from Tampines-Yishun-Woodlands the fastest option is 969 thus they introduce 969A
suddenly more swt trips introduce...
To be honest i did suggest to corps comm about the importance of having SWTs cause not all pax taking from starting to ending. They should learn more from SBST for instance.

969 is under Woodlands Depot control thereby it is still SMRT Buses. 168 can also be considered "Bedok territory" thereby it is still SBS Transit. Probably Woodlands contract area and Bedok contract area are their areas that is allowed to. 969A can be introduced from Woodlands to Tampines or Tampines to Yishun. Most probably 67 can be saved under Bedok contract area since they like to start at Tampines and not at Choa Chu Kang (the Choa Chu Kang area is under Bt Batok contract area).
168 is under Bedok Int although Amdep also minor control cause the 1st direction is from Bedok,969 is under WRI although the majority controller is Amdep.I thought LTA already loosen up the regulation on cross territory? If not how come SBST premium are allowed to operate at CCK/BPJ areas? How the hell 531 is allowed to operate from Simei?

eh?
then might as well withdraw 182M
i thought the only difference between 182 & 182M is the former calls at that bus stop while the latter never call that bus stop?

That's true - it is the only difference between 182 and 182M. I think 182M still exists because it does not call on the Tuas Checkpoint stop on its way to Tuas Terminal. Now that is the tiny little difference between the two services.

oh ya
just realised... 182 calls it twice (to tuas & to boon lay)
while the upcoming changes for 182M call only once (twrds boon lay) right?
haha... ya. tiny difference, 2 services. then might as well combine?
or is there a reason for this arrangement?

Revision in operating hours for Services 534, 556 and 560

dunno why SBS dont want to use Nicoll Highway or Cairnhill or Orchard Road or Havelock Road for some Premium Services, and alight people from Collyer Quay onwards, but insists on going the long journey via Outram or Anson
Maybe cos that is perceived as the less crowded side, and also because Robinson Rd has the best reach of all the roads there.
