Withdrawal of Parks 409 from 1 March
http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/download/withdrawal_parks409.pdf
Given the confession trend I have something to confess here - that post that(buses[IN]gapore!)'s closing down on Feb 29th 2013 was a troller. >.< Yeah, some had noticed it, while others believe it's a typo aka Feb 28th 2013. Nah, not going to close (at least not for now) - I can't guarantee it will last forever either though.
But through the post, it's heartening to see many people's support for this page. Honestly, I never really knew the impact that this page had created in your lives, or what stuffs you had learnt, be it minor or major ones. But I'm glad this page helped anyone in one way or another, and I'm also thankful for the support from all of you

Special announcement from buses[in]gapore!

As far as possible, we will give the fullest credits to the photos that are uploaded here which are not our work/property, as we respect intellectual property and the creator of the work.
There are Facebook limitations that photo links will be displayed as thumbnails, which we may choose to re-upload the photo with full credits/acknowledgement instead for people to view rather than to click on the link if it is worth sharing - we mean no harm.
We are operating under the assumption that it is near impossible to contact every photo owner for permission to re-upload if the photos are downloaded from the internet, as theoretically it may be near impossible to track and contact every single photo owner for permission, as there is likely no direct contact with the photographer - though we would hope to be able to contact and ask as far as possible. If a photo owner is not comfortable with his photo being shared, do kindly contact the page and we can sort it out.
It was unfortunate that an unpleasant incident has to occur where the owner of the MAN bus photo uploaded yesterday, which we found it to worth sharing through Oriental Model Buses website, Ying Hang Tin (Henry Tin), the photographer had came up to us saying "You do not have the permission of me" (to upload), and later falsely accused the page of stealing the photo despite the crediting/acknowledgement given (with 3 witnesses to this case), resulted in some rather ugly actions taken by his friends (supposedly) on reporting the post and causing it to be deleted.
Our definition of stealing is - if we uploaded and did not credit you, and try to pass of the photograph as our own, that would be stealing. Did we pass of the work as our own and refused to acknowledge you? At least in this case, no. So Ying Hang, you do owe us a public apology, at least.
Ying Hang, also rather bad news for you - you have also put yourself in a rather unusual situation where you are shooting yourself in the foot. You chose to send your photos to Oriental Model Buses website which can be viewed, downloaded and reused by ANYONE in the world without you ever knowing and how are you going to track the other? Will love to see how you are going to enforce your permission thing around the world if people reused your photo without knowing for their use (Link below in the comments - anyone can download and re-upload it elsewhere without your knowledge, so how are you going to enforce it in the vast internet?)
Perhaps it was our oversight to share the photo, without first asking - but as mentioned, we are operating under the assumption that it is near impossible to contact every photo owner through the internet for permission to re-upload if it is downloaded from the internet, hence every means to acknowledge the photographer/owner on the captions will be made instead.
If you have just requested us to remove the photo nicely and/or clarify with us, we could have gladly settled this amicably and work out something but it seems your actions made things quite bad, including removing people from your Hong Kong vehicles group and unfriending due to your overprotective nature. We are open to discussions and chats, so yeah.
This is something we feel that we should clarify.
SHUT UP LAH,BIS BOY!!!!!!!!YOU ARE REALLY ANOYING!!!!!YOU BETTER F**K OFF!!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing.
