The Woodlands bound TPE services prone to accidents, 858, 161, 168, 969 etc have their fair share of accidents?
As a matter of fact, its also no secret that these services tend to drive rather fast, even 161.

it is alway there but SBST just use some paint and painted on the glass to cover if u see clearly...

SMB129Z was the only bus that met with an accident but not on expressway.

Sometime use paint, some of the buses have just black tape over it.

It's beyond salvation to be honest. Even if it is it would take atleast 2-3 quarters to get it fixed.

it can be repaired.. just that whether it is worth it or not considering the lifespan. 8074 case is even more worst than this....

Yes it can be fixed but are you willing to take more than 6 months to wait for it to be done?
Damages like this do take atleast 6 months.

SBS2709C (HGDEP 161) crashed into a taxi at the junction of Hougang Ave 4 and 8. Bus is towed to the side of Hougang Ave 8 for inspection.
Both picture and caption are from the above SGF user (#11-18).

161 bad luck service sia. Firstly 2703T, then 9399S, then 9592A now 2709C. I wonder what perm bus will be affected by accident

What happened to both SBS 2703T and SBS 9399S?Were these buses involved in an accident too?

2703T people said got damaged till it when MIA for nearly 1 year. 9399S got into an accident last year while on 161.

Although Hgdep Volvos are speed demon it's always the newbie drivers that can't control it.First of all these newbies thought that they drive a car but not knowing those air brakes takes time to stop when e brake.Secondly they lack of defensive driving.Some cabbies purposely slow down when they see heavy vehicles tailgate or traveling at a high speed behind them.Ive got cases where China SLs rear end taxis at a full day bus lane too..

When you're rushing be more focus on the surrounding plus your braking must be damn good especially traveling behind taxis
