SBS9210C (AM 59) left front kena impaled by a falling tree branch due to the crazy showers this morning. Tree branch literally fell from the sky & struck the left front of the bus about a stop from CGV Terminal. Bus was parked by the car parking lots at the side of the road at around 0820hrs. 0930hrs BC managed to drive the bus into CGV Ter & parked the bus haphazardly across 3 bus lots.
Lower left of the front desto display struck a gaping hole, lower left front windscreen completely shattered. Impact dislodged the left front door as well, the entire thing (the left front door) was placed on the steps of the front entrance. The BCs driving svcs at CGV all drove their buses closer to see the damage while leaving the Ter & discussing the damage.Edit: Pictures uploaded.

Should be fixable cause the chassis isn't directly damaged from what I can tell. Just that most likely MIA for a few weeks from now on~

Don't care about him. He has always been picking on everyone who don't like Citaros. In fact since a long time ago after I had read some of our fellow forumers' posts I would like to ask him in which way Citaro is better than Scania K230UB.
Please larh... can you please don't completely disregard a certain model just because another one is superior to it.
Yes, KUBs are bad, but does that mean it's totally useless? It might have only 230hp, lots of vibration, loud engines and radiators, back door problems for the Euro 5 KUBs, not enough seats... blah blah blah...
Truth is, I dislike KUBs, but not to the core that I disregard its advantages over the cuitaros. I do recognize how these buses can play a part in helping the Citaro with its disadvantages. KUBs might have a really bad chassis but you gotta admit that it has more standing space and overall capacity than the cuitaros. Plus the citaro's aircon sucks to the max, KUBs have better air-conditioning. These buses also have better acceleration than the Citaros(not top speed), although SBST down tuned the bus until it roars at 60km/h.
But Citaros also do have good points indeed, eg. Higher top speed than KUBs(big help in expressways), less vibration, higher torque output(282/286PS vs 230hp), quieter engines, less violent doors, more seats although the aisle is a huge problem.
Scania vibrate cause of its odd cylinders 5 compared to normal 6.230hp yes a bit underpowered if full load but seriously if the buses is fitted with Voith 5 speed then its a different story.Ive tried the KL K270UB and it vibrate lesser than our K230s

eh, most of the aircon panel in Citaro changes from white to grey. And look at the window ledge where dusts and rubbish are all trapped there.
lol everyone chill la...
