  rode on SMB1330B yesterday

  i notice the door closing light goes off only when the door completely shuts.

  the pioneer batch of MANs, its door closing light goes off very fast when the announcement reaches "closing" and obviously before the door completely shuts.

  hmm, not sure whether other 13xx & BSEP ones are like SMB1330B or not

  One reason why SMRT is seen using masking tape or cable tie to fix their buses could be the driver self-fixed it and totally forgotten about the incident after a long day.
