nope you can stay on the bus. the bus doesnt ply inside a restricted area.

TIB1155M was packed to the door from there till Bukit Timah, I rmb near Chancery Lane, SL ask to pax to tap the card at entrance and enter the exit door bcoz the entrance is clogged up already. 75% of load left at Little India Station Bus Stop and after that the bus is no longer like sardines. I wonder how the load on weekdays if the load on Sunday morning at 11am is already like 190
Still the loading on 960 is lesser than 190 IMO.

Depends on the headway. Also, Sunday afternoon loading is equal to morning / evening peak loading on many services. But yes 960 does have high loading, especially at two stops: Bugis MRT and Little India MRT. The load normally drops when the bus moves west along Bukit Timah road.

Load is mainly from BPJ to Little India, then NL after that.

You got to be kidding me, my friend!! Have you seen the load during evening peak at Bugis MRT. At least 30-40 pax take the bus at this very stop. Even on weekends, you will see huge rush for 960 at Bugis.

That is the reason when i want to go back home from Bugis i prefer the MRT and bounce back to Marina Bay then taking forever packed 960 at Bugis MRT to Woodlands. I remember one time i standed from Bugis to WRI. Suckish experience even on a Sunday

You know, 190's loading is almost the entire morning and afternoon, and then on late evenings and night.
But 960's loading is sort of restricted to peak hours and sometimes a lot of more pax during weekends.

Totally agree.

Sry I forgot to mention that my observation was on Weekends non-peak hours, towards Marina Ctr. Normally during 1-2pm or 7-10pm.

you are so going GG.
806 at interchange
loading: 2 full bendy load!
Just now in the morning stand at the sv27's last tampines bus stp before heading for airport and saw a few sv21 buses coming at 1 min interval. After that sv168 buses
come 3 buses at 1 go also,Starting with SBS7663S followed by SBS3024M and followed by SBS3107H,2 mins latter SBS3188Z arrived.168 buses at that time was heading towards bedok.

One reason for this phenomena. Jam at expressway wich lead the back buses to catch up with the front one. The maximum i see is 3 bus at one go, u saw 4 bus catching up to each other

Saw 112 bus loading at HG Bus Int,so many people but SBS transit still deployed single deck buses on this service.Service 112 and Service 325 must have at least 1 DD perm bus

Take a look at 113 at hougang st 21 or 101 at hougang int. Definitely worser. 112 and 325 dosent need dd. 325 has more than enough buses to cater for the load and frequency.. 112 also. 113 only has 7 buses yet it is so chaotic at the kovan area.

Forgot to mention these three service which are 101,113 and 315.SBS Transit should have deployed at least one perm DD bus. There are 8 SP Wrights,11 SP VO3X and 2 SP Dennis Trident in HGDEP.It is more than enough. Those 8 SP Wrights can perm like service 101,112,113 and 315.These are the major bus service feeders that is the busiest during peak hours. So,therefore should make the 8 SP wrights perm.

They are called spare buses for a reason and SBST wont suka suka deploy dds to feeder bus svcs until they kena pressure
I think sbst should deploy the dds from 119 to 113 and 101 respectively.

I think the only time you post something over here is when you want to say that 113 loading is super high and it needs DDs. 113 will never get DDs because of its route. From Kovan to HG Int, multiple bus options available and loading is very poor. Agreed that loading during peak hours is super high between Kovan and Lor Ah Soo.
My suggestion is that 113 route be changed. Start at Serangoon Int -- Upper Serangoon Road -- Upper Paya Laber road -- Lor Ah Soo -- Hougang Ave 1 -- Tampines Road -- Kovan MRT -- Hougang St 21 -- Hougang Ave 1 and back to Serangoon Int.
This can be a very good route for DDs. There won't even be need for 53A, 45A and 53B if 113 starts at Serangoon. DDs will be very well utilized as well.

I don't think 101, 112, 315 require DDs. 315 needed DDs before but now with 116 coming in, there is no need for DDs on 315.
Personally I think the buses that need DD fleet add or DD-SD replacements are 59(+3), 69(+3), 74(full DD), 147(full DD), 240(+2) and 242(+2). 196 still fine with some SDs running on off-peak hours and the SBS8535Y slot.
IMO they can cut down on the number of DDs on 97(-3, don't really need so much DDs), 132(-3, redhill-bt merah major problem), 153(-4, peak hour uni-directional load) and 165(-3, CCL eating up the load).
101, 112, 113, 116, 315, 317 and 325 don't really need DDs...
113 is only high loading on a certain sector.
116 is a low loading-middle loading service.
315 becomes redundant after 116 was introduced.
317 load doesn't justify DDs.
325 has a turning restriction as what SBS2656X, a daily commuter on 325 mentioned.

112?From my observation,112 can have DD bus,so where is the weakest point of the service?
