Instead of doing these things, why not get a job at LTA/SBS/SMRT and you'll be able to do all of these things from office?

In case you wonder, I'm far from kidding here.
Getting to where you want requires you to position yourself correctly from very early on.
Good luck.

Here you go. My observation on svc 334 on Tuesday.
3149L B9TL Wright at 18.50 hours
Jurong East Int (83), Jurong East Ctrl (92), Blk 105 Boon Lay Way (93), Blk 112 Boon Lay Way (96), Parc Oasis (97 peak loading), Jurong East Ave Park Oasis (95), Blk 347 (86), Opp Jur Polyclinic (76), Jurong West Ave 1 Blk 490 (74), Blk 463 (69), Blk 457 (57), Blk 502 (49), Jurong West st 42 Blk 551 (40), Blk 553 (29), Blk 402 (21), Blk 415 (19), Jurong West Ave 1 Blk 422 (21), Jurong Polyclinic (26) -- got down at this stop and transferred to s98 to Lakeside MRT.
Observation: Heavy loading from MRT towards Jurong West Ave, st 42, but lower patronage on the return due to fewer commercial complexes and more residential area. Is there a specific reason you wanted to observe 334?
Thanks bro Anal much appreciated by your effort. So 334 indeed justified for DDs.291 fleet should be maintain only those VO3X is an eyesore. Those 5 KUBs are good for supplement though.Im awaiting Citaro cameo on this svc.May I know why 358 or 359 can't use dd?

Probably cos of tight turns, but I not so sure...

Yes bro... 334 deserves DDs... Though the loading is only in one direction, as it is a long route feeder, makes sense to have DDs... I foresee another 2 DDs getting added in future if the loading continues to increase. Right now, there are 4 DDs, 5 SDs on this service.
You are right. 291 has already 8 or 9 DDs. Does not need more. The 5 KUBs are good to adjust the frequency.

Giving due credit to svc_238, what I know is that s358 and s359 do not have DD restriction, but the loading on the route does not justify DDs as most people take bus for 2-3 stops from interchange. No one will use upper deck.

and there are many services helping like 58 88 12 17 21 53 89 109. Only 359 east loop is quite isolated. the rest are quite well served by other services.
this is unlike 291 where most parts of the route is unique.
@carbikebus: I travelled on s89 specially for you to understand the loading.
Time: 5.20 pm HG Interchange. Bus# 9502
HG Int (13), HG Ave 10 (14), Punggol Road (6), Sengkang East Ave (6), Compassalve Rd (14), Compassalve St (14), Punggol Road (19), Aft TPE (23), Pasir Ris Dr 1 (37 PEAK loading), Pasir Ris Central (23), Pasir Ris Dr 3 (17), Loyang Ave (14), Nicoll Dr (11), SATS Ferry Terminal (2), Police Off (1 - The checking lady came and ask me to get off the bus at this stop because I didn't have a pass).
I walked to the bus stop other side, and there was a 89 that I just missed. 9502 came back in 08 minutes. After I got in, I counted there were 93 pax. Ofcourse, I didn't have a place to sit, though there was 1 seat on the upper deck, but I chose to get down at Changi and take s19 to Tampines MRT instead. Sorry, could not do full route loading, but I think this gives a good indication of the uni-directional loading that comes from Cargo airport.
Thanks bro Anal I appreciate it very much..How bout those SMRT feeders like 800,804,806 seems only packed during peaks only.Justified for all bendies?806 can cope with 2 rigids and 8 bendies IMHO cause its unlike 911/912 where the loads is almost every time

The route of 806 is unique with hardly any overlapping services. In such a case, I would suggest full fleet bendy is important, or just supplement with a few SDs like it is done for s291, but majority fleet should be high capacity buses.
Service 147: 3 February 2013
How's the loading for services like 128 and BPS1?

Try in the morning, towards Changi direction. Or evening, towards Hougang.

Yes bro - even the evening load is crazy from Pasir Ris to HG. I could see when I was traveling in opposite direction. But 89 is a case of one directional super high loading, other direction peak wont be more than 40 pax.

I had taken 128 some 6 months back. I observed many people got down at Dhoby Ghaut MRT. The bus did not have even one standee throughout. I think loading was 28-30 pax throughout. It should actually be an express service. Atleast SBST will earn more revenue.

147 load can be even higher during weekdays AM and PM peak. You will observe more than 100 pax easily in many parts of the route. Yet the weekend loading also is pretty high to justify DDs.
If you take 94 to Paya Laber airport, do they ask you to get down or check i-card like they did to me when I took 89 to Cargo airport?
Took 960 just now from Block 270 to Bugis MRT.
TIB1155M was packed to the door from there till Bukit Timah, I rmb near Chancery Lane, SL ask to pax to tap the card at entrance and enter the exit door bcoz the entrance is clogged up already. 75% of load left at Little India Station Bus Stop and after that the bus is no longer like sardines. I wonder how the load on weekdays if the load on Sunday morning at 11am is already like 190
