Imagine SMRT download the their EDS data into the KUB! But most likely use green or paper destos if really use SBST buses on SMRT svcs...

Actually it is time that SBST to get back some bus service from SMRTB.
It has really shown that SMRTB cannot handle its bus operations well, even after so many years taking over from TIBS.
Services like 171, 106, 184, 190 should be handled back to SBST and some services like 857, 960 should be handled over to SBST.
The solution of SBST to control all bus services in Singapore and SMRT controlling all heavy rail networks is more viable for Singapore public transport system in the long term. Multi-modal companies and duopoly compeition is not realistic and not reliable in long term.

I saw a SBST driver wearing their company shirt and drive SMRT Buses.

I think end up they would have to use SBST's buses... intention to use SMRT's fleet is over cost issue... The ground still needs clear distinction and the TIs to control the BCs on the ground after all.. which is why I've stated in reality it's best it's entire rt given to SBST...
