I would vouch for orchard to have a small bus terminal.

At where? Should be somewhere along 36 route, so bus captain can have a short break there before leaving for the airport, like other airport bound services, can stop, toilet break then its back on the bus.
Find a suitable terminus not roadside leh

Roadside terminal at Siglap Rd. 36 drivers can choose to have a piss there if they cant hold their bladders till the airport... some svc can start at WLDEP or AMDEP (smrt)

Good idea, service 135 can call there too! 76 and 15 possibly can also.

76 can extend to siglap rd after exiting marine terrace then follow 197 to parkway parade. 15 maybe should stay as it is. at least svc like 135 and 55 can have 5 minute break b4 driving off.

svc 135 already calls there. svc 15 cannot as it loops at Parkway Parade.
966 should extend also to give SLs a break. One trip nearly 3h
966 wait long long for a integrated bus terminal there..

I think extending 76 further is not a good idea. 43, 135 all have same route to 76 till Macpherson. Extending 76 will not provide any unique advantage.

966 last time park one side before the amber rd circus. i think no choice.... but at least they get a 20+ min break at woodlands

ok, i prefer status quo for 76 as well, just providing a possible route if it were to be extended

966 should terminate at Eunos Interchange according to me. Too long route to Marine Parade. One can take svc 15, 55 and change to 966 at Eunos.
They can make a small cabin at the bus stop before parkway for drivers to tap and change shift

i prefer status quo for 966 as well... as long as the drivers get a long enough break at woodlands its alright IMO. how about airport services?

But is there any space issue at Eunos?

Eunos Interchange is under-utilized. It has space for 2-3 services easily.

not too much issues but alot of split shift buses have their swing breaks there

Airport ah. I pity 858 drivers srsly. 2h 40 mins to 3h per trip but since its a loop service then its hard unlike the SBS buses

True, but at least can stop over at PTB 2 for toilet break, unlike 966.
Actually 858 nothing la compared to 966

Yeah at times i rmb 858 took a very long break until i slept like they are rili tired and nd some stretching.
How at 51? is it very long?

51 is the longest service in terms of kms in Singapore. But since it is not loop, BCs get rest at either end.
858 svc is crazy long for BCs, so is 966 loop service.
