If you treat your living place like a slum, you sleep in a slum.
If you have dirty living habits, then how do you expect your living place to be clean over night ?

Ya. I am looking for a bit of entertainment now and you fit the bill!
Come.
Do me up (that sounds so darn wrong but who cares)
Yes.
I love opposing locals for the sake of doing so. Because now I want some more brickbats.
Ok, your turn.

It is up to the company to provide decent living condition, if not find out from the labour law in that country what can be done. Alternatively, if finances allow, rent own room. Somehow, I believe our govt company in Singapore provide better living condition in dorms than other third world countries.

I am not sure if they have voiced out the living condition to the bus company. Whatever, it is only good that the bus company be responsible to provide decent living condition for the dorms. If these staff are invaluable to the bus company, they have to do something.

You can't get everything good in other countries, that's for sure. At most is boh bian and live with it~ "If you want better standard, might as well bring your own bed/pillow"..
I slept on the roof because my stay was only 1 month.
You honestly think I could sleep through the south asian monsoon in the open had I stayed till then?
The stars were beautiful at night btw.
I refused to sleep in the bunk where everything there seemed to want a go at my blood.
That included moths!

No point talking to it la.

He can sleep anywhere for all he wants, it's his choice (:
But I think I rather sleep on beds~ Although there's bed bugs, it's not gonna kill you or scared the hell out of you(perhaps a nightmare) anyway... Or even turn into something big, feed on your blood and flesh and transform into some weirdos creatures.
Different people scared of/or felt uncomfortable with different types of insects~~
Anyway, it's not really SMRT's responsibility on the dorms condition(when PRC never give them feedback)~ It should be the PRC's responsibility in telling SMRT the conditions...
Dont think you guys ever got bitten by bed bugs before.
And I still retain black marks from the bites of blood-sucking moths though the trip was half a year ago.
Besides, biting insects are major carriers of disease.
My doc insisted that I paid over 700 bucks in vaccination, saying that South Asia wasnt a place to play a fool.
Unless you guys go out there and sleep in such bunks as I did, you won't understand.

I had bugs on bed before. Disturbing and unhealthy to sleep with bugs.
Yea ....... heck it even it sleeps in the coffin ..........

Perhaps you should be specific enough I believe different countries have different types of bed bugs~~
You most probably experienced the bad one~ I've got bitten by bed bugs before bro~ Even kenna attack by Bees~
It all depends on your body (: Of cause the healthier and stronger your body is, the lesser you would get sick or infected by those diseases(those less serious one~~).
Anyway, it still boils down to your personal hygiene and the area hygiene(which mostly caused by we humans)~~~~

the cheena are greedy. if they really can they will silently get a ficket and fly home. if they really can. instead of making it in the news and sahme their own people faces to the core.

I think Army one worst. If you complain about these and that, you sure be laughed at or being called sissy-type, plus because these insects can be dealed with by applying the Army's insect repellent~
If there happen to be a war break out, you're told to sleep with those biting insects, what would you do then? Surrender and die OR tahan with the sleep(and perhaps you won't even get a bite)?
