Purposely to understate the number or what? MOM dont interfere, they just said 102 on "sit-in" or dont bother to correct that. My instinct.
The bloody ex general also no man show, still learning how the trains operates or what?

Desmond Kwek was not known to be public speaker during the time I served in his tenure as CDF.
I wonder if Chew Men Leong is laughing at his ex boss now.

I wonder how come.
Did LTA twist arm, or does SBST owe them favours, or want to be owed favours?
I dont think so, SBST drivers merely on standby on Tuesday. No one see SBST BC driving SMRT buses as well, sometimes the press purposely mislead the public.

So he is in Public speaking class learning how to deal with the public i guess.

But still it doesnt take away the fact that SBST assets were there to "help if need be".
I wonder what kind of muddled system we are getting.
The more under-table deals we get, the more muddied the idea of "competition" gets.
If more intervention here and there by govt, might as well make lives easier and just subsume all services under a single entity?
If there is an "education" strike just like what is currently happened in Chicago, that will be big news : http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/09/teachers-strike-chicago-explained

Seriously if I were him, there's only 2 routes.
Go out there and take a deep bow and say limbeh jin sollee.
Or.
Just hide.
Desmond Kuek, you cannot be worst than the SPH. SPH is laughing quietly, lucky I jumped this sunken ship earlier, If not, I get the bloody blame again!
Exposed? Wow wow~~~Perhaps I wasn't even clear to you, but all I am saying is even a Singaporean insist on or even feel like doing something that's against the law, he/she confirm scared of those fines/punishments one~
Only minority(those hao lian ones) would dare to fight against(even knowing the law).
So which Singaporeans(excluse those hao lian ones) won't be "guai"? Even if they don't want, the laws still make them die die turn "guai" one what?
She probably earned a tidy fortune when she executed her options when she left as well.

I still remember her quote. "It is a matter of people want to get in the train or not".
One final quote to SMRT before I sleep, you cannot be business as usual. Buck UP!
Seems that the best recourse now for MOM would be to find a couple of PRC scapegoats, explain nicely to PRC why they will be deported after jail (keep angry commuters appeased).
And then make it clear that this is SMRT's fault.
It has to be.
Otherwise its implying that the govt has a wading role to play in the market where it doesnt really belong.
The BSEP backlash is already an example of the dangers of back-pedalling.

Hello? "Guai" leh? There's a huge difference when you put the quotation marks there...
So what you think will be the conclusion for this drama?
Let's move on again?
Think will get salary increment or not ?
Oh please..I was just referring to your post, and ONLY your post. Not anything about what you're replying back to~
Your "you started testing this guai was over the foreigner double standard issue isn’t it? so that’s the original position…" is totally wrong please
Your post didn't even state anything about the issue, just law and how Singaporeans would follow..
Anyway, Singapore shouldn't be scared of China already~
