1. a) PRC drivers sacked, so no more work permit, kena deported home.
b) PRC placed under arrest
2. SMRT fined by LTA and authorities for fucking shit up.
3. China people no longer hired as bus drivers. -

This is really one reason why I think the idea of having 2 or more operators is screwy.
Sure, cooperation in firm strategy is an established one, but using each other assets when public expects them to do arms-length deals??
There's more than meets the eye in the relations between the regulatory bodies and the 2 PTOs.
How to differentiate / integrate public needs and private firm motives in this manner? The soup gets more murky.
