Let's continue to chat here! Part 1 is almost full!
Your first topic?
Hi. I'm tired ...
At least name it like :
Singapore Buses Chatbox MkII
Or something cool
I can start one!
Is there proof that people saw MAN NG363F in Singapore?
Well I'm just asking... Is there any pic of NG363F in Singapore. Not starting a fight here...
I searched google but nothing!
"Singapore Buses Chatbox v2 - Shifting into Gear!"
Now to hide in embarrassment.
Anyway, the one thing that sucks about staying in the east is that you don't get to see the buses in the west ._.
TIB1096A was on 531 not long ago, long time no see a bendy on 531... FFW 10e koped its demand

Hahaa, agree wif the last point! Cant get to see demonstraters like 8033D, 8030L and Sunlong hybrids.

Hehe, yup.
Thinking about it, one range of regos I can think of that isn't used is the SBS 4xxx series. What's up with it? Why isn't it used?

R u chinese? Jus asking. It is a superstion, cus 4 in chinese rhymes with æ» [meaning dead in chinese]
To TIB501D, this is what happens if a pokemon pokes you...

It is some of the KUBs registered in the 8xxx series and some Batch 1 wrights registered under 7xxx have the number ''4'' excluded when it appears in the 3rd or 4th digit.
Thanks for the information. Even though I'm chinese, I don't really pay attention to superstition and wasn't aware how it would be tied together with public transportation.
It won't be used in the future because of this superstition, right? Anyway SBS7444H now intrigues me for this one reason. Even then, why were they omitted only for these few ranges?

They might use it in the future leh, who knows? :D

They need to use them cause someday they will run out of rego combinations and numbers.
Now that the Citaros are filling up the current 61xx-62xx-63xx series, would future non-Citaro rigids fill up the 66xx-69xx series?
Because I find it's confusing when the 7xxx series consists of the VO2x-es, B9TL CDGEs, and the B9TL Wrights, and the 9xxx series consists of the LO3x-es, VO3x-es, Tridents and B10TLs.

Like a Cacnea poking James from Team Rocket?
SBST
300 Batch 1 Citaros (60xx,61xx and 62xx)
450 Batch 2 Citaros (63xx, 64xx, 65xx and part of 66xx)
550 Batch 3 Wrights (33xx,34xx,35xx,36xx and part of 37xx) unless there are non BSEP Wrights

By the way for the future 550 Wrights, it is likely 269 of them will take up SBS7730J to SBS7887M and SBS7889H to SBS7999Z, then the remaining 281 Wrights will take up somewhere right after 3300-series (It is not convenient for me to shout out the regos because someone may be unhappy).

That's true, although there are 30 vacancies after SBS3269Z. Factoring in the de-registration of buses by the end of 2014, not factoring in extensions, SBST would have 1-1999, 2000-2887, 2889-2987, 3552-3999, 4000-4999, 6750-6999, 7000-7299, 9000-9400, 9691-9799, 9840-9887 and 9890-9999 free.
That's 2000+888+99+448+1000+250+300+401+109+48+110 = 5653 vacancies, meaning SBST would have a fleet of 4346.

What I believe is that both the batch 2 and 3 Wrights will use up these regos:
SBS7700T - SBS7887M
SBS7889H - SBS7999Z
SBS3000G - SBS3550K
