Service 85 modified route. This means 85 will be a parallel service to 163 to Sengkang on West / East way.
Does 85 call at all stops 163 does? The above map does not explain it.

Service 163 calls at Sengkang West Ave, not Sengkang West Way!

Ah! You are right. The namings in Sengkang area are so confusing...
Then in that case 85 just skips one bus stop with the new route, but no new bus stops added?

No. The new bus stops were added back in July 2011.

966 skips Bendemeer / Upper Serangoon road loop and will go directly on PIE.
Makes sense and saves at least 10 minutes for people on board. The frequency of 966 must also have improved or is there a fleet deduction?

The map is confusing. It shows 85 to ply Anchorvale rather than Sengkang West Way. But you are right 85 already plies Sengkang West Way. I am confused

I really hope that frequency of 85 will be improve. Waste my time waited 23mins for this bus in the afternoon.
966 no fleet decuction. Current total fleet is 20-22 buses, WAB service.. -
Nevertheless, I travelled once around that area and saw a huge number of HDBs coming up - especially on Anchorvale. I am sure in 2013 there will be new services or routes modified to ply Thanggam and Anchorvale St.

It is all route changes introduced by SBST / SMRT. -

Just joking.Actually service 85 does not skip one bus stop...
Before 2010, it does not ply via Jalan Kayu, Fernvale and anchorvale area. It follow 109 route to TPE from Sengkang Polyclinic.
After the route amendment to Sengkang West/Fernvale/Anchorvale, it still ply its original route from during morning peak hours, using White plate... -

No hanger because this amendment is not part of BSEP. Same goes for the amendment of sv307.
