67 should remain as it is
167 and 961 remain as it is, important links and the deleted sectors are relatively populated
77 YES
857 how about sembawang to suntec loop? or sembawang to shenton way via MBS
how can 187 loop at BNL? route is abit long...
853 loop there too far. end at UEC everyday better
171 no, should stay as it is. and there's 190
970 stay as it is
my 2 cents
187 got ply expressway mah..Then 180 already terminate at BNL.178 should start from Bt Batok-Boon Lay lots of catchment.Bt batok towards WDL nowadays crap leh
Two services...
One service from BBT to PNG via CCK and BPJ, TPY, Bishan, AMK, YCK and SKG.
One service from BNL to PNG via JE, Clementi, BNV, TPY, SGN, HG and SKG.
Very poor connectivity between these areas...
SBW underutilized ah bro..other smrt controlled areas seem sufficient for now.
Really hope 8 can extend to Pasir Ris or Changi Village?
Merge Service 82 with Service 107
Punggol Int - Shenton Way Ter
Punggol Int - Marina Centre (loop)

171 seems fine to me.
61 should be cut instead to terminate at New Bridge Rd. Its deleted sector can be covered by a new SBST route.
858 extension to Sembawang is totally pointless in the first place. It lengthenes the travelling time of Woodlands commuters to the airport, worsen the crowd levels for Yishun residents and the poor BCs have to drive longer for every trip. 858 should be cut back to its original route plying Gambas Ave and skip Sembawang.
Instead 178 can be extended to Sembawang.

Frequency of 857 is rili bad. I waited 20 mins for 857 on wed nite at 11pm and SMB46D came. When i dropped at YIS, SMB227Z came- A 'ghost' bus. Then SMB228X came- Less than 5 pax in the bus. Both MANs came less than 5 mins aft i alighted from the OC
At first I'm curious how 857 got 15 buses..SMRT cock one la,Put 15 buses but nearly 6 are split shift when the svc itself is popular even during off peak.Split shift buses also end early no wonder..857 can extend to Sembawang follow 858 routes from Yishun to Sbw itself. All they need is add 2 more normal day buses and revise the freq.

I agree. 857 doesnt have alot of buses maybe that why we have to wait 20+ mins for one to come+ SBW is quite underutilised.
Think need to check back 857 fleets,How come every time I heard ppl wait more than 17-25 mins?Think less than 15 buses.966 is more frequent now.

ya its weird. ever since 857 turned WAB, i never had to wait more then 20 minutes for this bus.
It always comes between 5-15 minutes. so it is weird when people say they wait for more than 20 minutes for 857.
Anyway Im thinking of this:
73 Yio Chu Kang Ter to TPY Int(goes to amk ave 3, amk ave 6, YCK Ter)
969 add 1 more stop to CGA (not possible because of bendies, but might be feasible in future?)
163 Woodlands Int to TPY Int(add on punggol road, TPE/SLE Woodlands Ave 2, Woodlands Int)
82 merge with 107 to form 82 : Punggol to Shenton Way
39 Yishun Interchange to Changi Village Terminal
85 Punggol Terminal to Sembawang Interchange
119 Punggol Interchange to Hougang Interchange

73 - ok
969 - See people in Tampines shoot you then know, also add traffic to CGA - 858 is enough
163 - make 159 WAB first, also duplicating with 161
82 + 107 - ok good one
39 - Too long a route - you want kill the BC ah?
85 - ok
119 - not smooth flowing. Duplicate 80, 87, 113 and MRT

969 - See people in Tampines shoot you then know, also add traffic to CGA - 858 is enough (to provide faster accessibility from the east to woodlands, 858 is taking too long, but if really extend, 969 can no longer have bendies, which is not ideal)
163 - make 159 WAB first, also duplicating with 161 (to cope with 161's load) haha

SMRT should introduce new service from Sembawang to Changi Cargo Complex via Yishun, SLE/TPE, Jalan Kayu and Changi Village..
23 should loop at Orchard Road
85 should ply Punggol Drive since there's no bus service there...
119 merge with 113 and extend to Hougang street 11 via Hougang street 21, Hougang Avenue 1 and Lorong Ah Soo
136 to ply Edgefield Plains, Punggol Drive and Punggol Place...
189 extend to the Marina Centre via Kent Ridge Term, West Coast Highway(express sector) , Shenton Way, MBS and Suntec City..
Hehee
23 used to loop at Orchard road, it was shorten to loop at Rochor Road due to the MRT. I think is best to keep svc 23 as it is.
