Can't 100% confirm, who knows if my eyes playing tricks on me.Never mind just wait and see...
Yeah haha..
Have a feeling if this bendy goes AMDEP, most probably it would be doing 811 or 851~~
Saw it at STK today...

might also do 812 or 806
since 812 got the O405Gs first
The MAN A24 has three side blinkers on each side, two on the front and one on the trailer for each side. Total of 6 for the entire bus.
Oh,Can't wait to check whether is it the 323 or 363,Hopes its te latter...

Hope its 363

NG363G. anyway SMRT stated in their tender documents that the engine must have at least 349hp

I thought it should be NG363F?
BTW the NG already means it is a bendy...

Kids do not know anything anyhow whack.from O405G name, their time spent less on research more on cyberbullying other people.

D2066 360hp 10.5l
Same engine on rigids, just an upgrade on power output.
Torque output should also be beefed up to 1800 Nm from 1000 rpm - 1400 rpm with 360PS @ 1900rpm

whoops typo, G is beside F at the keyboard anyway
Imagine sitting on the front seats of MAN A24. Engine sound can't be heard.

trust me the whistling is way louder than our A22s and the hum from the engine brake and radiator while slowing down also louder

Hahaa you got take before ah?

listen from outside can tell
Originally posted by SBS8501U:Maybe not, they may take some time to trial this bus like the SBST King Long bus.
maybe king long rejected
Should sound something like this:

Like the OC500LE which never get to be officially registered by SBST

That same engine also used for trucks. But then again, I thought MAN and Mercedes city buses were using a horizontally-opposed version like the OM407h/OM447h?Anyway, would it a Voith or ZF drivetrain for this bus?

Probably either a ZF EcoLife 6AP1700B, 6AP2000B, Ecomat 6HP604C (unlikely) or a Voith DIWA884.5 since these gearboxes are capable of handling 1800Nm of input torque.
I would guess a ZF EcoLife 6-speed gearbox as SMRT has preferred ZF gearboxes (as seen in the NL323Fs). I really hope it's the EcoLife though, as the Voith can sound very boring and doesn't seem to have acceleration as good as the ZF.

If the full torque rating (1800 Nm) is to be utilised, the only two gearbox options would be the ZF 6 AP 2000 B (EcoLife) or Voith D884.5/D884.6.
Remember that just because an engine is rated at 360 PS / 1800 Nm doesn't mean that the full load power / torque is available in all gears and under all conditions. Modern gearboxes reduce the torque of the engine in lower gears in order to preserve ride comfort and to ensure longevity of components. Articulated buses also have turntables with sensors that progressively signal the engine control unit to limit the torque of the engine depending on the angle of articulation.
It's confirmed a ZF6AP2000B, some people have already heard it while the bus is doing its test run.

May you be successful in your trial and do not get into accidents or breakdowns during this period.
