TRS: PRC SL tried to run over old man at zebra crossing

I would like to share with you a experience i had this evening with a SMRT PRC driver. I really hope this message gets through to the necessary mediums as it really infuriated me.This evening, which was 02 Nov at around 615 pm, i was walking towards the Yishun MRT station via the traffic junction. After crossing the traffic, i would have to cross another short zebra crossing to get to the MRT station. Upon reaching the zebra crossing, remember its a ZEBRA CROSSING. So as the traffic was clear, some of the people in front began to cross and i follow suit, with a old ah pek in front of me. Suddenly there's a SMRT bus 969 coming towards us to left turn. Even though its a ZEBRA crossing, the bus did not stop at all. Instead he honked and drove as if he wanted to bang us down. I had to pull the ah pek in front of me out of the way and he nearly knock me down if i didn't siam in the nick of time. Then when i looked at the bus driver, it was a PRC driver with the stupid face. I was so angry at that point of time that i gave him the finger and slammed the bus as it passed by me but he did not give a hoot about me. I was like WTF, this stupid tiong or rather 'FT' nearly killed us and this is a zebra crossing mind you. This is not china !WIth this incident, i really wonder why SMRT would rather hire PRC who are not really familiar with the traffic conditions here in singapore and not singaporeans. I am not trying to find fault with anyone, but this really has to stop. I am sick and tired of putting our lives to the hands of these people, may it be the service sector or what not. If you have the registration plates just report it directly, and this seems to be the outdated image. Do you have an updated version of it?

Tight schedules are to be blamed but some PRC drivers are a hazard.

It sounded like the fault is with PRCs in general, and not because of one bus driver's ignorance in following traffic rules.

Some PRC drivers are really dangerous. Few months ago there is a PRC driver on 67 who hurled vulgarities at a motorcyclist and threaten to knock him down.

Hai no point they still will hire PRC you know why?Ah Kong already invested heavily at there so in return their ppl must work n show their stupid attitude here...Burmese drivers are far more better than these clowns...Drive so fast without safety and control for what?Dun blame the tight schedule,Ppl lives and other road users safety must maintain.If they keep on chionging then forever the schedule will be tight cause company knew they can make it

this is very serious matter if its true, esp when dealing with PRC.
ANd TS is really very dai! pleas eprovide detials like bus license plate number, the toime it happened. the location and pinpoint it down on the streetdriectory, and gather witnesses. with all these infomration submit topolice and SMRT. confirm can track down who is the bloody driver. sue kenna 1. you write like that how to trace?

i believe the incident happened at the slip road zebra crossing NEAREST to yishun MRT. 969 have to turn left from yishun ave 2 to yishun ave 5 according to it's route towards woodlands.

don;t comapre, while i know its true not to act rashly, we must at least take note of the infomration required to bring such rackless driving to an end. the cheenas are heartless people, that's the rreason why WW2 they outbnumber the jpas may times to one but still lost and put to shame, many selfish ignrant people, greedey ttraitors and cowards.don;t bring this type of cheena mindset and way of living to sg

It can't even be ascertained for sure that the guy is a PRC, no license no. to verify also. Face = AT, means 110% AT?
If SMRT replies, it will only be because it has the basic decency to do so....or risk brickbats from the locals.
And get this also.
It isn't just our "PRC BCs" who do that, there are plenty of local car drivers and even motorbikes who do that to pedestrians and cyclists.
You guys know that.
It isn't just about nationalities. It's about human decency.
And when one of the locals caused a major accident by running the red light and injured scores of people, the owner of the car (who had lent his car to the driver) had his insurance terminated.
What did the other locals do?
They kpkb on his behalf, and even said "forgive and forget".
And how do you expect others to respect you when you send a letter that basically said "oh I am not finding fault" in one sentence, and "but get those foreign trash out" in the next?
If LTA/SMRT doesnt reply, I certainly will not blame them at all on this one.
