Was there any new bus operator in KL that sprang up relatively recently??Because i saw some pics of this king long buses on fb last week. The operator name is GOKL citybus.Livery is plain light purple. The buses they r using seems to be those exactly similar king longs found in RapidKL's fleet..Nvr seen their buses or heard b4 of this operator at all..Think should be a new operator??
Started 31st Aug. Was there in the first week to try the bus. Good initiative I must say. Using King Long buses with Allison automatic transmission.

There were no such tenders.
RapidKL was tasked by the government to operate the GOKL City Bus, as RapidKL is a subsidiary of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad or Prasarana, which is a government-linked company.
Although the move to operate the free services should be applauded, it further strains the bus shortage problem that RapidKL is facing right now.

Yeah exactly. There r alr so many complaints about their buses everywhere, then now as if the existing problems r not enough, they still want to use their buses for other purposes..Thats why i also found it very weird that they just koped RapidKL's buses for this instead of getting new buses or what for the shuttle.
