  svc 50 would be in hot demand if it plies area not covered by MRTs eg. bishan st 22 area, hougang st 91 that side, anchorvale, fernvale(needs more coverage), western punggol.

  Seriously doubt the authencity of this information. As what SBST275 said that offical documents regarding BSEP cannot be disclosed openly.

  Already so many routes at Toa Payoh. What route do you want it to take from Bishan to Toa Payoh? What is the reason for extension?

  Easy option to change to 88 if you're not happy. Or 59. Or whatever goes through Toa Payoh. I take these buses to school from home in the north east every day and I don't see the hassle.

  Can take MRT also what. Extending the route to Toa Payoh is completely redundant.
