  I was kinda excited when 178 Volgrens was replaced with MANs but when u look back at the total fleet. It is still not enough. I dont understand why they never deploy 1318M and 1319K to 178 since there are missing slots on 178

  I will try to go down there now if possible...but lately from what I believed is that either it only appear at AMDEP on the day the buses begin to be officially laid up or directly scrapped.

  DAF should be starting with 697Y 698U 700X 720M late this year follow by the rest next year.

  I wonder how will Lim Chu Kang and 975 be like when all the DAF are gone. Best is all the smiley Mercs go there if 975 cannot go WAB.

  Actually, I do not think SMRT would want to go WAB on certain services like 178 853 etc.

  For WLD's case in general if they get back their citaros/OC then yes.

  Now,SMRT don`t want to make 178,853 wab.Sooner or later they will be wab.According to LTA said that they give SBS Transit and SMRT bus services have to be wab by 2020.

  By November there may be new tender documents to confirm the de-registration of DAFs if SMRT do really want to let them de-registered without lifespan extension.
