Your Preferred Strider: SBST's Volvo B10M or SMRTB's Scania?

  This thread is opened to discuss of the STRIDERS only.

  Compare a SBST B10M Strider and a SMRT/TIBS L113CRL Strider.

  

  

   

  Which is your preferred Strider bus? Explain why.

  Do share with us your joyride on your favourite Strider bus where necessary.

  they are both equally good buses imo... both produce very good engine sounds but i think ill have to give it to the scanias for the pure power

  No.The KUB In my opinion is better than citaro.

  But Scania Strider is ridiculous.

  I like the B10M more. But as a whole the Strider bodywork is my favorite.

  It is luckily that the last 4 Striders registered are fitted with 3rd brake lights thus becoming JB-registered.

  By the way, you seems to be very good in taking pictures of combinations.

  I think both are as good.

  I like the striders ZF.

  I also like the scania l113crl's ZF howling and the unique interior design. The bus stopping and doors closing sign looks kinda nice to me. What's more, it's refurbished!

  Although L113CRL seems to be a bit jerky while Striders have loud engine sounds when moving off(heard from the outside).

  Strider and DM, their ZF is similar but somehow different... Can't explain it in words though...

  If fitted with 3rd brake lights, they are supposed to perm on 160/170, unless there are exceptions that applied to DM3500 (though referring to buses with 3rd brake lights that came from other depots other than ARBP or BBDEP).

  Are you talking about SBS1963R? It does not have 3rd brake lights but it has extra signal lights instead.

  Can u even differentiate the difference between L113CRL, N113CRB and KUB or not?

  Every bus that is "Scania" to you is creepy... KUB I can understand but L113CRL not even gemilang bodied, N113CRB is also not gemilang... KUB IS though...

  Get your scanias right first, clone......
