long overdue. but more buses on the road may mean less overtime hours for drivers
If SMRT can offer $3000 a month with 5 days MCs, overtime pay at $20 for per hour and work for 8 hours per day for singapore drivers, I willing to drive for six days. Also for long serving singapore drivers like those over 20 years company should offer them company share of $5000. Also have a chance to upgrade to train operator with the same pay, just in case SMRT reduce number of bus service due to new MRT line.
by the way I wonder how much train operator paid?
Right now smrt drivers request back the 5 days a week scheme.6 days a week for local too stress
Yes, more buses on the roads means lesser OTs for drivers. From what I heard, SMRT is considering to increase the salaries by $100-$200 with lesser working hours but OT will be removed all together.
