  295B and 296Z was perm 961 long time ago. It was never spare. Always on 961 with 294D n 297X

  Not exactly a redeployment, but a switch in X-over block.

  8538P is likely now 410/53, replacing 5060U's timings cause I've seen it at least thrice a week for the past 3 weeks or so on Sv 53 during peak hours on 5060U's previous x-over timings, while 5060U not spotted on its x-over slot
  
  But here's the interesting bit. 5060U (or for that matter the x-over slot from 410)'s timing used to be 0655hrs+ at last stop along PSR Dr 1 to CGA, but now the timing is the same & yet on the bus stop opposite instead to Bishan. 8538P has been doing that timing for quite some time from what I had seen.
  
  Fleet seq seems to have swapped though too. Used to be 5060U 6015U 6016S 8161S to CGV while 6035L 6036J 8608X to Bishan at that timing of 0650-0715, then these past weeks these 2 group of buses swapped sides. The first 4 (replace 5060U with 8538P) going to Bishan instead within the same time frame while 6035L 6036J 8608X are now heading to CGV for weekdays. Could someone check for me if the 410 X-over block to Sv 53 switched timing?

  969 is cameo. But I heard from 965 BC SMRT will send 2-3 3** series to 965...
