I feel Tampines to CBD there are many routes, and any route it would come up with would have only peak directional loading.
For HG to Serangoon, there is still possibility to cover many avenues that do not have direct services, and take the load off some other heavily loaded routes.
265 get citaro?

In the end LTA gets information from the ground through public feedback.
LTA is not inherently evil.
And if its misguided, you can try to use the system to change that from within.
I certainly dont mind another HG-SRGN route though. But we'll see what comes out from the pipelines!

The jam along Upper Serangoon Road is quite heavy during peak hours. Best if the new service skips that sector.

I doubt the new service will go via Upper Serangoon. It will be more of an intra-town for Hougang and coming to Serangoon via YCK Road and Hougang Ave 9. It will be used more to offset the load on 43, 70, 109, 315.
I guess the Bishan - Punggol route will ply Anchorvale Sports/Swimming complex, Fernvale and the upcoming ITE College Central and Sengkang Hospital..
The Tamp - CBD confirm will ply CGH> ITE Simei> ECP > Shenton Way..
Woah, this place become route suggestions thread already.

- Hougang Avenue 3
- Hougang Avenue 2
- YCK Rd
- Jln Kayu

Is there a better way not to ply places like Jln Kayu? Already got 85 there. They can take 86 and transfer 85 there. Or straight away take 86 to sengkang then transfer NEL.
Nope.....To ply to Sengkang West, there is Jalan kayu only...

Sengkang West Road under construction..
It will replace some parts of Jalan Kayu..
Serangoon to Hougang probably using other routes rather than duplicate 101,They have reason for this.Look at 860 most route also duplicate but see the loadings now.Even 1 svc 854 crossover.Bishan to Punggol I smell full Amdep.Tampines to CBD probably express svc
