Citaro seating arrangement is " rough around the edges". Notice how I put the "
I guess why they claim Scania buses are creepy is because of the dull interior.
But sooner, they may start to claim that the wrights are creepy, because of the same colour interior scheme as the Scania buses...
But I guess that the beige scheme with red and yellow seats applies to the 3 main WAB models in SG today (the beige colour does not apply to Citaro though)

The KUB's main problem is vibration issues and loud engine problems for some of them.
Nevertheless, they do have stronger aircon than Citaros.
But I still prefer the Citaro though, less vibrations and nicer Voith DIWA 854.5 transmissions.

Voith DIWA D854.5, ZF6HP592C, ZF EcoLife 6 AP 1200 B, Voith DIWA D.854.5
There is no such gearbox on citaros without a D in current sbst/smrt fleet

Haiz,the public is fickle
Nobody even cares about design flaws...
Nothing wrong with the DAFs anyway...

They have a dull interior, loud engines and radiators and completely inadequete power for the loads most of them have to carry, resulting in getting both drivers and commuters pissed off. I don't mind its 'dull' interior though... at least the seats are colourful to me :)

they have lots of torque and pick up faster than average
Nothing wrong with DAFs,except it's uncomfortable and the engine is too loud

Too loud? Compare it to the howling of SBST O405's W3E 110/2.2R gearbox.
But anyways, that bus's transmission is super nice especially when de-celerating, that's why it became my favourite bus of all time, too bad it was gone in 3rd Jun 2011.
My last ride on an SBST O405 was in 2009 or 2010, missed them soooo much...

It's still considered loud

However, these Citaros are usually from other AMDEP services such as 53 and 56. The previous times I spotted SBS6016S, SBS6062H and SBS6063E on 410, which really stand out from the perm 410 KUBs.
Latest cameo was SBS6036J, 2 days ago

I think they were meant for the Europeans in the first place, installed with blowers instead of A/C. Maybe Mercedes Benz did not think about SG's hot climate?

True, wonder if Gemilang will have done it differently...

Maybe they will do it like SMRT MAN A22 style which is unadjustable also?

MAN A22's ac is directed ONTO the person. Merc Benz O530's is directed at the fucking window.

That's how the standard Citaro buses work. Almost every Citaro bus has this standard design and bodywork.
Check out the Citaro buses from other countries. Other than the exterior and seats, the bus bodywork don't really differ anyway.

The Yutong bus, SMB135E aircon also non-adjustable but cooler than Citaros..
Or is it adjustable? Forgot already...

Erm, you are getting biased...
1. Scania where got always accident? It's all based on driver's skills.
2. Loud radiator? SBST O405 even louder.
3. Scanias are not as jerky as you describe. Furthermore, the Euro V were improved such that they jerk less often.
4. Comfortable? Define please, as in how it is comfortable. =/
5. Though I agree that Citaro interior is stylish, KUB interior is not lousy!

It's not comfortable at all. The cushions are like sitting on a flat 45degrees slanted rock.
When defining ''Comfortable'', in this sense the winner definitely goes to the B10Ms.
