  For 1896B, the readers were always faulty thats why they got it changed

  I had noticed that some Striders did not have red leather air-con ducts. Can someone help me check those Striders from 2662 to 2688 except those confirmed as below, if they have red or grey AC ducts?

  So SBS2676M just got its red ducts recently? I remembered taking SBS2676M on 195 on 27th July and the bus still have grey ducts back then.

  If im not wrong, yes. But it was a month back I cant really rmb now. Most of the striders from AR/BB had gotten new readers and new ducts like 2641M recently.

  Ah...yes. Do look out for the rest of the buses as well. I just wanted to correct the information vandalised on SgWiki, because the vandalised information led people to think that refurbished buses were not given lifespan extensions (if I'm not wrong).

  Speaking of which, what could be the buses from the last two batches that might not be extended as of now?

  Yes, 2676M got red ducts. Saw it OS few days back with red ducts.

  Thanks for the confirmation. Please look out for Striders and see if they have red or grey ducts, or even if you happen to see one.

  De-registration date: 8 November 2013. After all it is expected as no refurbishment to the AC ducts were made.

  As for the rest I believe they will eventually receive the 2 years lifespan extension in late-December 2013 to early January 2014.

  SBS2661E still have grey AC ducts. Not the refurbished red AC ducts.

  I should presume that most of the HGDEP Striders de-registering next year (without extensions) do not have refurbished red AC ducts at all...after all some of the information provided by our enthusiasts here are misleading.
