Still not enough. I boarded a 45 from the sector of Lor Ah Soo. It was SBS3199S. Whole journey back to AMDEP was packed. And I "played" with iris, next bus is a WAB(don't think is 3136Z as that time AM Peak). Plus poor frequency, 22mins. They should have used a KUB instead of a Wright, is 45A demand high?
Lor Ah Soo has many HDB complexes and schools. The services plying on the road are 45, 53, 62 and 113.
It is well connected by NEL and CCL.
For NEL - 113 or 45, 53. For some reason, at Lor Ah Soo, people don't take 113 to Kovan but rather take 45, 53 to Serangoon.
For CCL - Either 45, 53 to Serangoon, but more popular 62 to Tai Seng. 62 DDs are totally packed when it turns at Upper Paya Laber road.
53A - The bus starts at Hougang Ave 1 and already when it comes to Lor Ah Soo, there are around 50 pax in it.
45A - It operates for only 5 to 6 stops. The morning loading is 60-65 pax - manageable by KUB. I would rather prefer Wright to do full route and use KUB for 45A.
113 - It has only around 25-30 pax when it turns to Hougang Ave 1. The main loading for 113 is at the last stop on Hougang Ave 1 towards hougang st 21.
