Totally spoiled my mood..
Yes. I have felt that many times before during peak hours on svc 2, 7,133 and 197 at Bugis. After work, you want a place to sit whether I am heading to Serangoon or going to Bedok or Guillemard road. And invariably it has happened to me that a SD comes instead of a DD and it is ofcourse packed at Bugis.
I normally wait for the next bus though, but it takes aways 10-12 mins of my time but then I at least get a seat to sit.

Wow. How do you remember rego numbers back in 2007?

Very true, but then I'd just be glad to be able to board a DD and get some decent standing space and consider myself lucky if I get that elusive seat.. Can't understand why Sv133 still have so many SDs when they aren't really coping well with the load (esp the Bugis to Potong Pasir stretch AMK bound).

Exactly right. Why are there 50% SDs on 133. Need at least 75% of the fleet to be DDs.
If you get a DD, I would say that it is easier to board and get a seat at Bugis - cannot promise at Kallang - that's where the loading > 80 pax.
Imagine when a SD comes - only 30/35 pax can sit and another 30/35 pax can stand - basically people at Kallang can't even enter and have to either choose another bus or wait for 133 DD

Hope the upcoming Batch 3 Wrights go to 133 or other needy services.
With so many Wrights coming in, I hope so! The number of Wrights registered are more than the ones getting de-registered. There are a lot of spare Wrights - so hopefully, they will be deployed soon, and Singapore will get more DDs.

I also really hoped SBST buying Alexander Enviro buses but someone knew the reason why they don't buy these buses.

Why don't you like the Wrights? The Batch 2B looks pretty cool and modern. What is about the Enviro 500 that's better - the speed?

Referring to Volvo B9TL E500.

Mainly the straight and wider stairs.
Do you know of any routes / services that have got service dis-improvements starting 19 Sep?
Everytime I see 197 MK4s, the only thing I can say is...
It is ALWAYS seating loaded with few standees, is there any occasions where 197 MK4s are packed to the brim(not including KUBs).

Depends what direction you are taking 197. Now 197 has only Wrights, all VO3x have been replaced.
Peak loading:
Marine Parade to Bukit Merah Road (morning)
Jurong East to Bukit Merah Road (morning)
Guilliame Road to Marine Parade (morning)
and the other way round in the evening...

Guillemard road.
Seen 5 197 wrights packed to the brim [ Upper Deck filled completely and bottom deck filled of standees ] in the evening at Jurong East in a row. The next bus after the 5 wrights is a DM which is partially empty.

Jurong East ENTERING Interchange.
Pretty absurd.

Yeah - pretty absurd. I wouldn't expect 197, that too, 5 of them to be packed with standies while entering the interchange. What was the interval between 5 buses? They can't be back to back. Did you observe it over an hour?
Then could be possible that 197 went ahead of 97 and picked up pax along AYE and German Center.

First 2 is stacked up entering JEI.
The last 3 is entering one by one.
First ans 2nd bus stacked up entering JEI, so no interval.
Interval between 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th bus is 5min, 7min and 11 min respectively.
I suspect a SD entered between the 4th and 5th bus.
Is 9181C perm on 59? It had a 59 sticker, but doesn't show in sgwiki.
I took it at 18.02 hours at Bradell Station. The bus had around 58 pax till Eunos link. At Kaki Bukit - 65pax, Kaki Bukit CC - 82 pax, Safra - 91pax, Loyong Ave - 33 pax (at 19.05 hours)
I think 59 deserves more DDs considering the loading on its route.

Can you edit it back on sgwiki for both, please!!!
45 gets 2 Wright DDs as per sgwiki. So in total 4 DDs. This is good and was needed.
