Coz yes, please don't take this hard, but I do find that some, just SOME, of your analysing are just your childish opinions.

HGDEP make commuters boarding packed bus svcs in the hg or kovan area suffer and deploy dds on 163 instead? Lol. And u are saying I'm a clone? Aren't u a clone as well? I'm pretty sure ppl debating about svc 163 are all u.
lol the funny thing
this guy talks abt 113, high loading at kovan during peak hr
almost exactly like someone else here
lucky nvr talk abt 113A also
if not is really obvious
hahaha

Not only that, there's many people defending 163..
Service 165 got service deprovements

Who is the shit that analyze people too? Speak for yourself.

This service is really screwed-up.
Before CCL, NUS peeps complained too crowded and unreliable.
After CCL, the buses are now crawling and frequency 10-15 minutes and just as crowded.
As it is, public transport topped the woes again for students in NUS according to the student union. 95 was fingered once again as a major culprit with the NUS shuttles deemed to be still insufficient despite all the fleet increases.
Despite the new KR MRT that's supposed to actually make life easier!
Its not hard to see why isn't it?
The school fees included the shuttle service!
Why pay 4 cents more everyday unless the shuttle is just idiotic (which unfortunately was the case)?
And a lot of those folks are on train concession.
It makes no cow-sense for them to do a 70+ cent trip for just a few stops.
I spare myself that agony by taking the BTC shuttle instead......which can be another horror at times. Fortunately there is a back-up called 151 which has improved drastically in frequency and reliability compared to the past.

No.
The bigger problem is the darn U-town that is sucking much-needed bus resources away.

I have yet to see those buses although the sem started more than a month ago.
Not a single one at all.
Although I'm supposed to take C after BTC to get to Central Library every other day.
Says something?
Can't see any service deprovements on sgwiki for svc 165. Can u list them?

haha I am one of those on TCP.. Havent taken Service 95 since I gotten the pass last month. That 73cts more is srsly too much of a deterrent to take 95 even a few times per week. Srsly if A1 pua stunt I will just walk to LT29 for hopes of Service C/D2 appearing to save my day. And if I were from FOS I would just walk from KR everyday except when it rains. Waiting for A1 and trying to board is just too much..
Talking abt B and C, I will only try them during the peak hrs, if not it is wiser to start walking than waiting for them. And their arrival timings are always missing on the LCD panels with the exception of during peaks (at times only).
Shuttle D, though with plenty of buses, still screws up badly in the afternoon hours (2.30-3.30pm) at UTown. Virtually the whole world is waiting for D2 and a couple of them can't clear the crowd. Have been walking (or should I say running) out of UTown since the few incidences. At other times, D2 will be bunching like mad (just saw 4-5 of them bunched before & aft OED last Fri around 4.30pm).
Lastly, I would be more than willing to buy BCP and spare myself from the A1 agony if not for my 8am & 9am classes when Service 151's frequency is most erratic and not mentioning the dangers of Bt Timah stretch trapping the bus.
Same sentiments.
I have a 9am class and taking 151 or BTC for that would be sucidal with all the crazy jams.
Taking A1/A2 would be playing Russian Roulette.
Taking 151e = Paying more, though I still take this service from time to time.
The safest bet in fact would be to take 10 from Harbourfront, but 10 is another erratic service. To play safe, one can also take 30 or 143, and then proceed to climb the mountain.

I just recalled someone on this forum had the cheek to say 95 has not much crowd.
Seriously?
oh my friend who stays in the east used to take Service 95 to BNV MRT (makes no sense to go CLE since you pay more and similar loading on the train) but ever since 95's frequency dropped he has been taking Service 96 more frequently since 96 has became more frequent than 95 relatively (or absolutely)? Not mentioning the DD spams on 96 while 95's DD fleet got cut..
In all my years at NUS, 95 has always been the let-down.
Compared to 96 which has a good frequency, 95 has always been known to be erratic by contrast.
And before CCL, also far more complicated with 95 A, B, C. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, there was even a 95D!
And also before CCL, it wasn't unusual for people to board 95 from the rear door....because the BC knows how much it meant for students to be able to get to their lessons on time!
Not sure what is it like at BNV now....I've stopped taking 95 since 3 years ago.
Seriously did 291's frequency improved at all? Even for 1 minute???
New additions:
1 KUB added to svc 80 (total of 7 SDs on this route now, it had 5 in June, 6 in August and now 7 in Sep. No change in DDs, so basically it is fleet addition and maybe crossover)
1 Dennis Trident added to svc 64 (total of 5 DDs on this route now, increase from 4 till last month)

I think 291 has good # of buses. The problem is 291 buses always bunch. I have observed even at Tampines Int, there is no effort to avoid bunching. The moment another 291 comes, the BC takes the first one out. Last week I saw, within 4 minutes, 3 B9TLs left Tampines Int on east loop.
I do understand the issue is clogging of interchange space, and that is one of the major reasons 291 never leaves Tampines Interchange on scheduled times but the bunching starts right from Interchange itself.
If you are say on Tampines st 23, you will not get a 291 for say 10-12 minutes, and within the next 4-5 minutes, there will be 3 B9TLs. The first one is packed, the other two empty.

there has not been any fleet size changes to 64 and 80 for this year. You may wish to note that sgwiki is not an absolute source of reliable information.

If i'm not wrong, there used to be 5 DDs on 64 in 2007. SBS9279E, SBS9287G, SBS9626L, SBS9677P and SBS9684T
