Sengkang's air-con not cold enough...
Originally posted by SBS 3010C:And Clementi. The air-con quite strong.
New interchanges must have strong air-cons
IIRC, the development plan for Hougang Central only starts in 2014. So Hougang Int should have high chance...
Now can safely say that Bukit Merah interchange is the oldest bus interchange in Singapore...

Tampines bus interchange will be slated for redevelopment in few years time.
But it might be one of the last few.

How about Ghim Moh Terminal?

Ghim Moh is a roadside terminal, parallel to the road where Buona Vista Terminal is. I would prefer if both go, and you rather have a BNV Interchange between the CCL/EWL where people can board / alight.

with DTL coming up.... it will become worse!
With DTL coming, I also feel the # of routes calling at Tampines Interchange would reduce. For many routes, in fact the frequency will also drop, so guess the situation won't be worse than today.

CCL opened, buses are still crowded. DTL open, maybe still the same. Our population will increase. DTL won't affect 'long queue' routes like 31,72,291 and 969...

100% not relieving 27's crowd.

CCL has definitely affected the crowd on buses. Look at the load on 93, 165, routes along Pasir Panjang - the loading has dropped considerably.
Ofcourse routes that you have mentioned will not be affected.
Routes that will get affected are ones plying along DTL line.
