you look at what SMRT did to 169. put A22s that arrive 20-30mins, then make E50D and O405G MIA. but then now with some help with A95s and more E50Ds along with bus svc like 117 and 883.

How could u simply agree with someone when you dont even get his msg in the first place? Btw 169 does not have and never had any SBST fleets

what i agreed is with the high capacity buses. even if 169 has Wrights instead of E50D or A95, i would still board it.
i don't hate all the taros but the SBST-spec cuitaros are just bad. However, they are still buses.

167, 859, 882, 883 + Yishun feeders got some cuitaros. if they brought any Wrights, can imagine 128B's expression.

SMB128B you are fortunate that your SMRT do have variant models..You can take Citaro,B9TL,E500,A24,A22,A95 and the NWAB Bendy..People in Punggol and Pasir Ris only two models to take only leh😂We drive also until sian leh..Wakakaka

Don't be suprised if Yishun feeders will be only Citaro and B9TL.852 will be a mixture of A22 and Citaro while 851 & 860 will be A22 and A95..

I alr promised to not make a fuss bout the makes anymore. I'm not even sure what are u trying to convince me of. Since I am not dumb enough to not realise one can sit and stand inside a citaro. Dont take my words out of context.

LTA chose the SBS-spec Citaro which sucks. I would also rather have all A22s and KUBs. But don't create a fuss here just about it, it doesn't help. If you want, you can send feedback to LTA about this.
Actually, the K230UBs are very powerful buses. But SBST ruined them with the gear restrictions.
P.S. For some reason the KUB has lower licensed capacity than the Shitaros, but practically the Shitaros cannot take so many pax because of the narrow standing areas at the back.

Because there were loaned with no strings attached. Just as the B5RH was.
Hybrid technology isn't suited for Singapore.

Between 2009 and 2010, operators brought in Sunlong and Yutong demos. The lobbyists created the largest din they could ever make to the operators.
SMB136C (and later SMB138Y) was the direct comparison they made against, and the newer Citaro C2 came out shortly after in 2011. Imagine how much pester power the lobbyists were using against the two operators. They didn't back off until operators placed firm orders to the tune of what we have today.
Not far off from the Tea Party protestors ending up with Trump now, no?

Eh dun ah!!! SBS Service level in Bukit Merah is superb! I lived there since B10M MK2s were perming 273. Never once 273 had a delay.
