SMRT took almost 1 and the half year to finetune the acceleration for their Citaros.Almost all of their Citaros accelerate better than any SBST buses.

I have ever taken a Wright B9TL on 43 which is right behind a Citaro on 43M. When the Citaro was completing a left turn on a slip road, the B9TL went into the second lane and overtook the SD.

Seriously MB buses cannot restrict too much..Its only less than 6400cc by the way

ur right. the main difference i can think of is SMRT allows driver to kickdown when he wants while SBST is auto kickdown, determined by the ECU. driver cannot control.

SBS6508P front EDS was off when on 43 yesterday. No desto either. I was on a 43 DD opposite, only the back EDS was visible.
SBS6500K spotted on Buangkok Green towards AMK Ave 3. Right behind SBS6508P on 43.

Most SBS and SG plate Citaros are sluggish and jerky.Wait for a few months maybe the technicians will tune the acceleration.
3 new SG plates Citaros in AMDEP.. guess they take in 3 new SDs to replace the 3 VO3x that are deregistered..

But the ones above are registered to SBS, most likely for 26 amendment and launch of 46.
