10 rego-less citaros with purple & orange livery without SBST logo parked at bulim depot, together with the 3 wrights with purple & orange livery without SBST logo (its rear painted white!) with rego plate
In other news, at least 8 rego-less citaros at pandan C&C

You mean SG1000G? Nope, it is not registered...
I am now at Boon Lay Bus Interchange, waiting for bus 174. A Citaro is in front of me. SBS6692P. There is something interesting I saw and I would like to share. Just now got one bus driver, he go press one button at the front of the bus, at the bottom right hand corner, below the windscreen. When he pressed the button, the front door opened! Wow. :O

If i'm not wrong, that is the same for all SBST Citaros as well as SMB136C.
Cheers!

How many buses are coming? 2000 up to ???
And what type are the 10 buses SG1001 - SG1010??
Thanks for Information - Uwe from Cologne

Hi,
SBS2000M - SBS2004C and SG1001 - SG1010 is part of SBS Transit's 3rd batch order of 250 Mercedes-Benz Facelift Citaros, paid for by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
Here is a breakdown of the current registered batch 3 buses:
SBS6866E - SBS6893B: Fully owned and operated by SBS Transit
SBS6550R - SBS6599B, SBS2000M - SBS2004C: Owned by LTA, operated by SBS Transit
SG1001D - SG1010C: Owned by LTA, operated by Tower Transit under the Government Contracting Model (GCM).
As these buses were ordered by SBS Transit, they feature SBS Transit specifications for the interior, despite some of them going under LTA's ownership.
The press release as stated in the GCM New/Transferred thread mentions LTA is buying 50 buses (12 SDs) from SBST, and it is speculated that the 12 are from non-BSEP buses. Any idea which 12?
There will be only 100 Citaros left to be delivered from this year onwards...given the total amount of buses already registered (117 if including 6546/6846 onwards) and those delivered but not registered (a total of 33 Citaros spreaded out for GCM and BSEP over two months), I am inclined to believe that 6846-6865 and 6546-6549 are supposed to be considered Batch 3 instead...

Never expected a huge jump in rego though... add-on SG1083S, and they are registered today 2 Jan 2016 not 2015...
