Out today on Sv 38. Joins siblings 6883E 6884C 6891G 6892D in BNDEP.
Btw, no more new Citaros & Wrights in BNDEP as of today. All out on the roads already.
SBS6374H (BR 155) now without rim covers as well.
2nd Citaro from AM/BR that i know of without rim covers (the other one is 6011E (AM 53)). Joining the BNDEP ones.

SBS6078M (left side) and SBS6334Z do not have rimguards too...
iirc 6011 and 6078 is due to accident previously.. not sure for 6334 6374 tho

Oh, thanks for the update. That's 4 now then that joins the BNDEP gang without rim covers, hmm.
6011E initially didn't have the front left rim cover, then i guess AMDEP decided to standardise and took out the right side rim cover too. haha. But I don't recall 6011E was involved any heavy incident though..unless you mean those less-serious "fender benders". Or maybe my memory failed me on this part.
So I'm guessing 6334Z 6374H cases are similar. They probably wanted to change the lugnuts and just said "screw it, take out the rim covers to make our lives easier", lol.

I afraid not. They want full low floor.
How many more buses remaining in the batch? Will the rego series be exhausted?

SBS6590A to SBS6599B are the last 10 regos usable...another rego series have be used...unless the SBS Transit buses from SBS6300X onwards are re-registered.

Hmm. What about non-BSEP?

SBS6306E from BNDEP still got rimguards when i saw it yest.. guess its the only BNDEP citaro now to still have rimguards?? because almost every other BNDEP citaro i see all dont have rimguards.. surprising that this bus managed to escape somehow from getting it's rimguards koped away until now..

SBS6894Z to SBS6999E can only be filled up by 106 buses...given the remaining number of buses to be registered, I guess SBS Transit will have to fill in the gaps of those originally under Batch 1 (those regos from SBS6169J onwards)...

They just simply choose numbers to be registered and those missing numbers eventually become the current BSEP buses...especially when the original 6169J got some problems back in 2012.

At this rate, all the regos available for the BSEP Citaros under the 6000-series have been used up...can anyone confirm if there is an alternative rego series used for registration given that more BSEP services will be introduced in times to come?

Do you mean that there are definitely more BSEP Citaros sitting out there? Lol sorry no idea about new registration. Perhaps 1000 series since 0000 series was given to Wright?

What happened to this 6169?

Supposedly yes, there are 149 Citaros left to be registered...

Around the time in February 2012, I heard there are some problems with the unregistered chassis...subsequently the problem has been rectified but the bus is then registered as a BSEP bus in September the same year.

Oh. So this bus was originally slated to be 6169, but then encountered problem and eventually this same chassis was registered under BSEP, leaving a gap and thus SBS6169J this rego is unused?
there are so many new BSEP Citaros not appearing on the roads since Aug? no one spotted them?
