Check SBS Transit website for press releases in July 2014. An order for 665 buses had been placed, 250 being Citaros and 415 being Wrights.

maybe this batch, the wrights use 4xxx while the citaros use 7xxx (ex-VO2x, which i doubt so since 7xxx is DDs)?
u will never know haha

I am rather inclined to think that Citaros can use 1000-series, 2000-series or just use up the whole of 6000-series (since there are 1000 Citaros in all).

Suspect 6546 will be a Batch 3 Citaro.
Why is HGDEP hoarding the new Citaros?

HG have the most MkIVs dying in the next couple of months.

Spot on. Actually, BB/AR & BN/CG are doing the same too. Just that instead of hoarding Citaros as SPs, they're hoarding the Wrights instead. I foresee some possible SD-to-DD slot conversions soon when the DM3500s and remaining Striders go off~
BN/CG have been consistently using the SP Wrights to replace quite alot of MIA SDs on SD slots on their services in recent weeks though~ (instead of using the Wrights to replace DD slots mostly). talk about excess capacity. Haha.
SBS6534M on 261 today, should be in AMDEP.
6537 6538 6539 6540 6541 are in AMDEP.
6536 to amdep on 13
I think the more than 10 Citaros at Amdep is for 122
I guess the Citaros will use Voith while the Wrights will use ZF

At this stage, most likely it is still under Batch 2 since SBS Transit mentioned that Batch 3 will only be delivered starting from mid-2015...
