Those citaros from HGDEP are transferred from BNDEP where BNDEP removed them...
i think its for easier maintenance on the rims and wheels. heard the rimcaps require some amount of force to put on and remove

To install the blue coil wires to secure the lugnuts on the rims or something, that's why I saw. Although some of the AMDEP Citaros have the coil wires too on the lugnuts, but their rim covers are still intact.
Bedok North depot is SBST worst depot for maintanance.
SBS 6203T has its rim caps took off after installing the coils. Sad... Citaros w/o rim caps just look so weird.

Imagine a Mercedes Rimcap on a Volvo Recovery truck...
Weird.
BNDEP seems to be extremely lazy.

But no news of one MkIV is sold. Do note about the increasing trend on DM3500s transferred to HGDEP.
Non of the MK4s are de-registered yet. The sold MK4s are likely to be those without lifespan extensions as they are going to be sold with 72 of the Leyland Olympians that will go by next year.

SBS888G is now deregistered.

The post was posted before any living MK4s are de-registered.

No
I noticed many of the Citaros have stronger air cons now...
SBS6165U of rimguard has been removed.

Especially the rear.
Do note that the air-con unit sounds more noisier.

I think saw the chassis when I passed by few days ago, there was a trade plate hanging on it. Dosen't look in a quite good condition.

What happened to that bus

Dk,but the chassis looks strange and not in good looking condition.
I think kana damaged before fitting the bus with the chassis.
Some new additions to the BNDEP-missing-rim-guards-Citaros family (might have double-post, sorry for that):
6116L (BN 109)
6165U (BN 222)
6166S (BN 6)
6179E (BN 196/196e)
6246U (BN 518)
At least 6183S (BN 6) went in BNDEP for washing & polishing and still came back out with its rim guards still, today on 518 shiny shiny.

In the case, what would the dealer have to do??? Replace a chassis???
