What are you trying to prove?

This is really sad about the mentality of people.
62 - I agree. During evening peak, the load is standing 100+ pax right from Aljunied to Sengkang. SDs cannot cope with the peak load.

Nope most of the time the rear of the bus alr got ppl standing. So 70ppl in each bus. Plus 113A's demand behind is about 80-90 pax every 16mins. so i think dd should be improved to improve freq of 113 with 113A's reduced fleet.
I tend to believe ex 34 should be re-intro... but ending pt being Eunos...
Cos I noticed e crowd at Expo tat side these days...

I agree and feel this is a good idea to re-introduce 24A as DD and have it operating for full day rather than only peak hours.
The same should be done with 27A and have it operating throughout the day. Deploy at least 10 DDs on 27A and 22 SDs on 27.

My point was clearly not taken, but that's fine.
Because SBST saw my point most of the time.
I think DDs on 163M wasted, should put on 163. 163 also need more DDs or improve frequency or re-introduce 371.
DDs on 163 are not wasted.
Toa Payoh - YCK (low load)
YCK - Buangkok Station (very high load)
Highest loading is 163M area. It is the only bus serving this area, and with the # of HDBs, a DD service is needed.
eff 130812 s293 wkd (mon-fri) gets additional one bus which is e shift. mayb it doesnt help tat much also.
Service 371 was withdrawn due to LRT + 163 heavy duplication......
If introduce 371, it is not going to be of any use when a 163 bus is infront of it.
I will want to see more new buses deployed on 163. Fleet getting worse nowdays.

153 should not use DDs,it's not even crowded at peak hours
961 should use bendies at peak hours
190 too have full bendy fleet

190 will be better off returning to SBST and use full double decker fleet.

153 doesn't need DDs?
I think you should make replications of yourself, station each of them at the bus stops that 153 plies and then observe every single trips during peak hours to determine whether it really needs DDs.

153 has high loading only in one direction. The other way is completely empty.
For instance, evening peak: The DD gets fully seated at Jalan Bukit Merah (70-80 pax). This loading is until Toa Payoh. At Bradell road and Upper Serangoon road, the bus goes with 30 pax only.
I have used two services during peak leaving at Bukit Merah at 5.50 pm up till Serangoon station, and have observed the load.
I think 5 DDs would be enough for 153, and the others should be transferred to other high loading routes such as 8, 21, 88 or may be even introduce new DDs on 130 (may be only 2) during peak loading time at Shenton Way.
Also 45 needs more DDs for sure, seeing the loading in the last 2 months.
Totally agree. 190 is one of the perfect routes to have full fleet DDs. Please transfer this service to SBST again.

153 is solely HGDEP controlled so SBST should deploy 1 or 2 dds from svc 153 to svc 113? Or dds from 153 can downroute 113 during peak hours AM/PM peak hours because i really dont think 153 need that much dds. The demand for svc 153 i think can be compared to svc 56, where the demand of a sd applies but dds are deployed. I seldom see dds on 153 really utilised. 113 can use the dds for service improvements so that pax would not need to squeeze like sardines and can find a seat on the way home. Most of the pax of svc 113 take the service above 4-5 stops. Also, the dds can also be deployed on svc 80. Damn -.- so many dds on svc 80 are downgraded to sds.. Eg. SBS1688K. Maybe svc 80 dosent need that much dds but alot of commuters taking svc 80 take long distances.. Took 8193A on 80 today. Few standees but bus wasnt packed.. So.. DDs on 113 and maybe freq should be adjusted for more dds to be deployed on svc 80.
